Legend in the Making Chapter Six: Team Flare Headquarters, Lysandre, and the Ultimate Weapon Stocking up on useful items and weaponswas something our heroes were in desperate need of. They needed at least asword each if they even thought they had a chance against XZH and the bad guys.Greenluigi’s miniature pocket knife wasn’t going to do them any good. So, aftera quick nap, NintendoFanKimmy and her cousin embarked on a new quest to venturethrough all video game worlds while picking up some items and hopefullyvaluable advice from their idols, the protagonists. Before saying theirgoodbyes with A user of this the night before, he gave them a copy of hisElectronic World map. They were going to need it. The next morning, Kimmypicked up the map. “Let’s see,” she began. “First stop – Pokémon Land!” Then, she rolled it up and put it in her yellow knapsack. “C’mon, green!” Then, thetwo friends eagerly set their sights on the horizon, knowing they’d reach theirdestination soon enough. It was the closest Land, after all. Besides, items inthe Pokémon franchise were plenty, even thought not the most effective. Afterall, most of them were mainly designed to boost up Pokémon’s strengths, nothumans’. Although, there would be no problem getting a Pokémon or two to usethem on, anyway! Kimmy was an expert on Pokémon and mastering the elements. With the exception of Black Magic, that is. Those like green and Kimmy, withnoble intentions, struggle to master Black Magic, as it is an element mostlyused for evil and trickery. Finally, nearly breathless, the two Vizzed citizensmade their first steps on the Pokémon Land. As soon as they did that, though,it felt like they had just walked through a large wall of Jell-O. Suddenly, everything behind them disappeared, and there were no traces of another place.Just the Kalos region, where they were. They were officially in the PokémonWorld. It was bustling with Trainers and Coordinators having battles or takingthe stage. Either way, they were busy. It was a lively World, andNintendoFanKimmy and greenluigi hadn’t had a clue as where to start. “Kalos isa busy region,” pointed out green. “Let’s go somewhere else. We can borrowSerena’s Yveltal. You know Serena, right? Calem’s neighbor?” Kimmy nodded.“Yeah.” Then, looking for Serena, they accidentally bumped into her friend,Calem. “Oh!” exclaimed Kimmy. “Sorry! But have you by any chance seen Serena?”Calem really didn’t look like he had the time. “Are you freaking kidding me?She’s at Team Flare Headquarters! I’m on my way to see her now! I’ve heard thatLysandre freak job runs the place, so I can’t just stand here talking to youdweebs! Buzz off, eh?” The next second, he dashed off to what appeared to be agrand city in the middle of the region. It was Lumiose City, the prime of theKalos region. “What are we waiting for?!” exclaimed green, grabbing Kimmy’shand and following Calem. “Let’s follow him!” Then, they traced the young lad’sfootprints in the mud, which were quite visible as the rain was coming downhard. “We can’t lose him!” said NintendoFanKimmy. Eventually, they reachedCalem at a small alley in front of Lysandre Café, which was simply a cover forLysandre Labs – also known as Team Flare Headquarters. “I’ve heard of theseguys,” said Kimmy. “They’re the regional villains. Its head, Lysandre, seeks tocreate a ‘more peaceful’ world. According to him, there will be less fights andthefts if they decrease the world’s population.” Green continued, “Yeah, yeah, sounds like a nice way to put it, but we’re not discussing this over a cup o’tea, here. To cut a long, disastrous story short, WE’RE DEAD.” It was true, though. He was right. Team Flare’s ambitions were to ‘wipe the slate clean’ andeliminate everyone who wasn’t part of their group. “I’m sorry to those of whoare not part of Team Flare, but this is adieu to you all,” said Lysandrehimself in a public worldwide Holo Caster announcement. And they weren’tkeeping it to themselves either. All of Kalos, and all of the Pokémon World forthat matter, were terrified in fear. Calem, Kimmy, and green could all hearlittle children’s’ cries from outside the café. What Team Flare was doing waswrong and cruel, no matter how formal and kindly they make it seem. They wereending the world with the help of the Ultimate Weapon, which would be poweredup by Yveltal. Thankfully, Serena had already caught it, ending their plans, but the weapon was charged enough to be used once. That one shot, though, wouldbe so small, it would only kill anyone in Team Flare HQ. Which was why Calemwas in a hurry to get Serena out; he knew that Lysandre would use the weaponeven if it meant suicide – his hatred for Serena was that great. She had foiledhis plans several times before, after all. Eventually, they got to where Serenawas. “Serena!” called Calem in relief. “Let’s go! I have a pretty good ideaabout what’s going to happen to us if we don’t.” Calem, Serena, Kimmy, andgreen were about to head to the exit until they were interrupted by Lysandre’s“Not so fast.” Surprised, the four adolescents turned around. “I challenge you,Serena, to one final battle. If you win, I’ll let you and your little friendsgo. If I win, this place is blown to bits ASAP.” Serena smirked. In less thanfive minutes, she totally owned all of his Pokémon, including his Mega-EvolvedGyarados. She did have the legendary Yveltal by her side, after all. Then, shecalled it back to its Pokéball. NintendoFanKimmy was astounded. She had neverseen anyone train and master the elements so well. She started looking up toSerena. So did Calem, as she was always one step ahead of him. Greenluigi, onthe other hand, was impressed by her skills, but did not look up to her or seeher as a role model; Pokémon and elements were not his thing. He was a direct combatperson. Sword fighting, for example one of the many things he excelled at.Kimmy would chicken out a second in a sword fighting match. After they beatLysandre, he still didn’t fulfill his end of the bargain, being the callousperson he was. He raised a remote control up high and clicked a button. Then, aloud shake was felt, followed by a ‘boom!’ The Ultimate Weapon had fired andlaunched a fiery beam of destruction into space. In about thirty seconds, itwould fall and crash to Earth, only affecting Lysandre Labs, or Team FlareHeadquarters, due to its unplanned tiny size. Killing his enemies only, however, was enough to satisfy him. Ourheroes, along with Calem and Serena were all angry with Lysandre for trickingthem, but there was not time for thought. All four of them were headed for theexit, and, suddenly, the Team Flare boss grabbed Serena’s arm. “I don’t thinkso.” The more she struggled, the tighter he grasped. “Help! Someone help! Please!”But Kimmy, green, and Calem were already outside and back on the streets ofLumiose city. “Alright,” started Calem. “Head count. One, two, three, h-hey!Where’s Serena? Quick! We better get back to her fast! Before it’s too la-” Hewas interrupted by the sight of the flashing, fiery beam of destruction enteringEarth’s atmosphere. “Oh, sh-” Then, NintendoFanKimmy nudged him. “Hey! Look!”Luckily, Serena did have a savior – a pale man in a red suit with a J on it.
