Okay, just for the seasons sake and don't worry if you noticed this thread after the holidays, which I think is what you probably did. Just contribute.

I remember getting this four pack of games once by U.S. Gold. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/U.S._Gold It had one Asteroids clone, some crazy car game and Impossible mission 2.  http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Impossible_Mission_II What the fourth game was I have no idea. But was very happy.

Later on I also got Kings Quest IV and I think Police Quest II was maybe a Christmas gift. Or a birthday present, I am not sure. I remember how my mom was disappointed that I played it through in two days since she thought I would have more fun with it. Well I played through maybe 20 times but I felt sad then about boasting about it to her since she probably thought she had bought something expensive that I didn't enjoy after all.

Ninja Turtles 1 for the N.E.S.
Wolverine for the N.E.S.
Nightshade.
The Toxic Crusader.
Chess Master.
Lolo.

I swear Hard games were always in my diet.
I fell asleep playing Metroid and Zelda 2 for the N.E.S. (No Joke.)

Good Luck.
Peace.

I honestly don't remember getting any games for Christmas - ever. No, I take that back I remember seeing a picture of the Colecovision under the Christmas tree. I was like 4 or 5 when I got it so... all I can remember about that Christmas is the pic.

My folks bought me an NES for my birthday which came with SMB1/Duck Hunt. I remember getting all of my games for my birthdays as well. Metroid, Batman and Blaster Master. The younger generation needs to keep in mind that in the eighties games for the home consoles still cost $50 just like today but take home pay for middle class families was less. My parents bought what they could afford.

I remember getting Mega Man 1 for Christmas from my grandmother. I also remember getting Castlevania 2 from my uncle. Its funny too, because I hated how hard that game was and then years later I played it and beat it easily and wondered why I used to think it was so hard.

The main game though was in the mid 1990's I got Phantasy Star IV. It's my all time favorite game and cost $80.00 at the time. I still can't believe my mom bought it for me that year considering the cost. The good thing though is I played it a lot and beat it about 10 times.

Easily the easiest game gift for me to remember from the nineties would be when I got the N64 right after launch. I asked for that, but it was one of those things that you never really even thought you would get. Not for a second did I expect that. We were always poor, and could never even afford to buy a new game, much less a brand new system, but somehow (I'll never know how) my parents managed to surprise us with it.

Next game memory from that time was getting WWF Warzone for Christmas. And finally, getting "Hey You, Pikachu", Driver 2, and WWF Smackdown 2, all on one Christmas. Those were all some great memories, largely due to the stories surrounding them.

In the 1980's for Christmas I remember getting Mega Man 2, Super Mario Brothers 1 and 2. I got a lot of games for Christmas in the 1990's. In the middle 1990's I got a Super Nintendo. The games I got were Donkey Kong Country, Mega Man 7, Mega Man X2, Mega Man X3, and Yoshi's Island. In 1999 I got a play station for Christmas. The games I got for Christmas in 1999 to go along with the play station were: MLB 2000, Mortal Kombat trilogy, Mega Man legends, and Tiny Tank.
