Yeah I would say on christmas I feel energetic, ecstatic and pumped. I don't really think there is a way or feeling to describe how I feel on christmas day. On christmas eve I get the feeling of anticipation and anxiety, but on the morning of christmas day, now that's a different story. Good question by the way.

On chrismas day I feel so happy.  I can't wait to set up breakfast, turn on the christmas lights, and watch my niece open up her gifts!  I usually don't get much but it's fun to play with my niece and watch her eyes widen more and more with each gift she gets!

Then it's fun to hang out with family and have the house smell wonderful with all the foods being made!  Oh I just can't wait!

I'm tired.  We have several houses we visit on Christmas Eve and we do a lot of driving all day.  We also go to Christmas Eve church services with my wife's family and it's a Midnight service, so it wraps up around 1:00 am.  My wife's father is also a big Christmas guy so he gets everyone up early to eat food.  So, it's a few hours of sleep, it's a lot of action so I'm wiped out anyway, and I pour down as much coffee as possible.  I'm not a huge 'get presents' guy and I don't need to receive anything to make me happy, so I don't feel the same excitement I used to when I was younger.  Christmas used to be magical and wonderful and exciting.  Now, it's fun because I see family and I eat a lot but it's just not as good as it was.

Kinda like summer.

Usually when I wake up on Christmas day, I feel really excited and stare at my clock. But last year was kinda different because I had my very first case of TMJ. When I woke up, my mouth could open about 1 cm and scared the heck outta me. This year was also different, mostly because I wasn't especially excited.
