A new game has been announced for the Wii U, entitled NES Remix. It's a compilation of 15 NES games that were modded by Nintendo themselves.

The game should be on the eShop today for the price of 15 dollars, or 9 euros.

Oh.....oh? Oh. Oooooh. Ooooooooooooooooooh! =D Oh yes, this is like my dream come true. It looks very varied and nice with all those little challenges. I wasn't even aware a hole in one in golf was possible (mainly because bluh, it's golf -3-). This is good, this means something actually varible can be done with the sports games to make it feel more like a game, without having to do years of practice on the sport. I'll be getting this.

Interestingly enough, the Wii U can support HD graphics, and playing 8-bit games on a HD TV doesn't really do much. I wonder if this title will support HD for the 8-bit games. Like....sharper pixels?? I'm genuinely curious x3

Darkpower508 : 8 bit titles actually do well when on an HD system, just being on the system themselves makes them look bad.

Check out the Retron 5 for a system that runs cartridges in 720p, the pixels are all crystal clear and it's a system that plays carts for the NES, SNES, GEN, FAM, SFAM, GB, GBC, and GBA. It's really worth the 100 dollars

alexanyways : =o I'm not a fan of multi-cart systems, but this one looks exceptionally impressive. It's really impressive how they used shaders to up the quality of the image, that is 20 odd years old. I didn't think that was possible without starting again from scratch. And the promised 100% compatiblity with any region is also very valuable to me. Plus I can use original controllers as well ^.^ I might actually get this.

I just saw this on IGN earlier today and I was very excited to see it. So it's out today? I guess I'll have to get it next time I'm on my Wii-U but to be honest, I wish it would've came out for the 3DS instead because I spend way more time on my 3DS.

I LOVED the WarioWare games due to the retro based minigames and this reminds me of that a little. Very excited to try this out, Nintendo needs to do more stuff like this with their retro games instead of just porting their retro games to every console but not adding anything new to them.

Like I said before I'm HOPING beyond hope that this comes out for the 3DS. Seems like the perfect format for it. Although now it seems like they are trying to streamline the 3DS and the Wii U with similar content now that they added the miiverse stuff. Let's hope.

When a company like Sega ports a classic, you get loads of sweet stuff (on non-Nintendo systems anyway). Nintendo porting classics with 3D is great though.

Davideo7: I know what you mean and it would be cool if for say they added something like they did in WarioWare Twisted or they use the touch screen on the Wii U (or 3DS) for new twist on the games. Other than that it looks like a awesome game and i'll download it soon

I think It's really good. I've always looked for challenges in video games, And this is perfect for the challenging catagory.
Although sometimes, The challenges are impossible

Just letting everyone know that I've earned Rainbow Stars for almost every challenge on this game and I'm almost done getting them all. The reason I mention that is because I also recorded the gameplay of myself doing so and will upload it to YouTube in the near future. By the time I'm done, I will have invested 20 hours into this game and some of the gameplay I've recorded are awesome, I did some great speed runs through some of these levels.
