DenzGamer135 : That thread is meant for the thread maker to share what she thinks would be vizzed board's future and for others to "comment on it". This thread on the other hand actually "asks us" what we think vizzed board would be like in the future. So nope~ I'll let it stay opened.

In the next 10 years there will be a lot of new features in vizzed it will probably be changed tons.. the coloring my be different maybe the entire site might have new settings. I think that David already has a lot of things already planned but I am sure many other new and creative things will come in place by the next 10 years.

I'm not sure much will change. It is an Aclml board so it has the old php codes. While vizzed seems to be the most advanced forum of this genre it wont grow too much unless Davideo7 or who ever else the owner will be in 10 years decides to scrap the code and redesign a third Vizzed board.

I am sure there will be 6th gen consoles on the way shortly since I keep seeing rom sites with DC, PS2 and GC games available.

I really want to grow up with vizzed. I really want to see it grow, or not grow. I just feell like a part of a good community and I'd hate to let that go.

I'm not sure. 10 years is a long time on the internet, and as it is, Vizzed is already about 10 years old (will be at the end of the year).

If I'm being honest, I really don't expect Vizzed to still be here 10 years from now. That's not a challenge, or a threat, that's just the reality of the internet. David keeps this site up for now, and there claims to be legal basis for anything, but the larger this site gets, the more and more publicity this site will get with bigger companies.

Once a really big company takes offense to the RGR and their monetization, you will see several claims and appeals to take down certain games.

Eventually, once this site reaches its peak in membership, I fully expect a big company to come at David with a lawyer, regardless of whether or not what this site does is legal. And since David can't likely afford a ton of lawyers, he'd have no choice but to remove several games, and eventually systems.

The only way I see Vizzed surviving after 10 more years with the current level of security, paranoia, and legality issues... is if it becomes just a forum, and the RGR is completely cast aside. But that's just how I view it. It may be pessimisstic, and completely untrue. But we'll revisit that in 10 years when this site will hopefully still be around.

Well in 10 years I think Vizzed will have ps2 games up and running. I also think it will have a lot more views then it does now.

I think the forum would be the same to be honest and there would be play station 1 and old xbox games in the retro game room I think a lot more people will share/discover this awesome place which would result in a hell of a lot more members.

I have no idea what vizzed would be like in 10 years, but I hope it would still be awesome and have the same friendly community its always had. I think leggy has a good point, even though it sounds negative, it is the truth and there is a good possibility that is what is likely to happen in 10 years. 

I would hate for vizzed to not be here in 10 years. I think I could still appreciate it if it were just a forum, sure it would be different, but at least I would still have my friends. Good question by the way, I have never really put a lot of thought into this before.  

legacyme3 :  I don't see the RGR going the way of the wind completely.  Some of the systems the RGR uses are so old that the companies that own the rights know there is no way for them to make revenue off of those games anymore, in fact it really couldn't do anything for a company like that but help them to get some recognition as the site becomes more popular which could open up new opportunities for them.  Now with some of the Nintendo stuff for example you could be right (they seem to be sticklers when it comes to things like this) and they certaintly don't need any recognition.

nakina : There would be millions of updates of course. There would be new games and possibly new forums. And probably new rules as well. I think it would be hard to guess because there may be a totally new era that everything changes or something.

And there would be lots of people here and it would be overcrowded.
