Alright, I'm still relatively new to the My Little Pony universe... Once I discovered how popular it was, I decided that I HAD to become a brony (I'm not sure if girls are 'bro'nies, but whatever). Anyway, I really want to become a fan and know more about My Little Pony, so I would appreciate it if you guys would tell me the basics to get me started. Thanks!

first welcome to the herd. its good to have people want to watch it and not judge without seeing it. to get into it you need to watch the first season. well actually all the seasons but you should start with s1 ep1&2 as it is the beginning. if you want the origins and a good history lesson on the show I made a thread awhile back that had a documentary https://www.vizzed.com/boards/thread.php?id=62036. if there is any questions you have pm me and im sure to answer all of them as iv been a brony since before season 2 so iv been in it awhile.

I suggest watching all of the episodes in chronological order, then watching the Equestria Girls movie, and then you should head into the fandom so you have your mind equipped for things like head canons and continuity callbacks that people mention. Also, girls bronies call themselves "Pegasisters"
