Vizzed Championship Series!!

I'll be your host for this last month of a tremendous year of posting for the board, and I'll keep you up to date with who's who, and who's winning the contest for the month!

The VCS is a contest that appears once every 3 months and gives joy and happiness to all users, with a bigger reason to post, and a competitive spirit to boot, it's one of the greatest parts of enjoying Vizzed!

All you have to do to compete, is post. Whoever posts within the top 10 users for a day can obtain points that get them ranked onto a leaderboard. The points add up over the month, and whoever has the most points by the end of the month will win!

What's in it for you? Bragging rights, of course!

I'll also throw in some Viz for the top 3 posters.
1st - 50,000 Viz(Laptop or PSX)
2nd - 25,000 Viz(Netplay or V-Machine)
3rd - 10,000 Viz

I'll update the thread the morning after every day to tell you what went down.

Maybe that will happen. I may or may not try to win again, depends on how much time I have.

tgags123 : I don't believe that it has happened before. It may have come close or similar order though.

I don't think it has in all the time I used to host it either.

I do know repeat winners of the VCS aren't common though, only a few times has someone won two consecutive VCS's.

Huh, was there a thread asking who wanted to host? LOL I must have missed it. XD

alexanyways : The Viz awarded must be used for those items or no?

legacyme3 : If I could turn it into $50, then I would LOVE Viz. But alas, I can't. So my fun is really limited to the board.

If I could turn Viz into money, I wouldn't give it away like it was candy.

I'd also be about 1,000 dollars richer, because I'd keep cashing out my Viz for money.

I forgot it was supposed to happen until some time today when David reminded all of us.


There is a small part of me that wants to try and win again but the reality is I know I won't be able to keep up with all the spamming that is likely to happen.

geeogree :  I feel ya geeogree.  That and work makes my time very limited.

Maybe we should both aim for tenth.  A little competition between us two. haha.  

Singelli : I think I got 9th or 10th on the last one.... I stopped recording how I did which means I probably didn't do well after the March 2013 one.

geeogree :  We can be more random and compete for ninth? XD

Singelli : I would love to try for the lower half of the top 10 for sure. And honestly it's not that hard to accomplish as long as you get points every day. You don't need 10 points just 3 or 4 per day. That eventually adds up to about 100 points which is good for top 10 finishes in most VCS's.

geeogree :  Alright. Then I'm officially challenging you to ninth place.

Yeah, you can "try" for first every day, but sometimes, the smart thing to do, if you want to place top 10 is just go for like 2-5 points a day every couple days.

Even if you only get 3 points a day, 4 days a week, you can still rack up something like 45 points.

Last month, I think 45 gave you 10th on the money.

Singelli : sounds good. I would say you're likely to beat me but I think we're equally busy right now so it might be a fair competition.


legacyme3 : exactly. That's what I try and tell people. I actually wanted to try to win without ever getting a 1st place finish for a day but I posted too much to actually do that successfully. I think it's totally possible though.

Ah, the VCS posting is back. It seems that I look forward to this competition every year. Hoping that it isn't filled with spam that we seem to miss. But hey, new mods should catch it this time.

Here's to another competition of posting, I wish the best of luck to all that are competing. I know I am probably not going to do that well, but I would like to try and hit the top 5 if I can. I am not even going to try to compete with some of the spamming that I know is going to happen, but I at least want to get a few points here and there in this month's competition. 

I will try to get at least maybe 75-100 points if I can, I may compete every few days and really go for one of the top spots. I am definitely not going to go all out like I did in the TDV and get like 10 points every day, but I will do my best to rack up some points periodically. Best of luck to all competing.
