Other than a pic... and rules, what shall we do first?

becerra95 :  Well, I want to make a layout first.  After that though, I'm going to draft some rules.  We need to design an application for the 'experts' and maybe start a topic each of our own to give an example of what it is we're looking for.

I'd kind of like teacher stuff to be separated from the 'learning' articles and threads, so I'm thinking we can sticky all teacher threads, but keep them brief and organized. (i.e. a thread for sharing lesson plans, a thread for 'war' stories, etc.)

I want this to be a little different from most forums, in which we control more of the content. I don't want just anybody creating any kind of thread in here, so that's something we need to emphasize, if you two agree on that.

(for example, I wouldn't want someone to just create a thread like "Who's your favorite teacher?"  Simple threads like that can go in the school forum.)

I won't summon pray here since he was already summoned by you, bec.

Bringing a bit of quality threads and all might keep this afloat

Singelli : I'm definitely okay with that. I think people need to coordinate with us if they have a topic they want to post on, and there are a few members we should allow to post at will (for instance, earthwarrior in regards to HTML Q&A if he wants, or play4fun on pretty much anything lol). I'm also going to be doing my oil soon, and I'll post pictures with directions as my initial teaching thread. Expect that in the next couple of weeks or so, after we come up with some guidelines and rules.

Though not a teacher like you guys, got some pretty good grasps on a few subjects. Though one you already took pray ... but ok with that lol.

So we'll pm each other about the threads later, discuss over the rules and whatnot?
