There's a reason no one can catch a Wild Leggy.

The reason? Wild Leggy already caught itself.

You may ask how that makes him a "Wild" Leggy. This is where it gets confusing... see, he both does and doesn't own himself. A Leggy from the past caught the Leggy from the future, and with the resulting paradox of owning yourself, the timeline was thrown out of whack.

It resulted in many phenomena, including, but not limited to: an unwild Wild Leggy, the Two Wild Leggy Quantum Break, and the self awareness of the Wild Leggy in question.

And because the timeline was split AFTER Wild Leggy was caught, all Wild Leggys to ever exist are owned by the original Wild Leggy Owner. Who happens to be Leggy himself.

I'm sure this is very disappointing, but your math is busted, in this scenario, as your odds of catching one Wild Leggy (let alone two) is effectively zero.

However, your math is good when it comes to finding Wild Leggys. If that is your goal, you may well make something of yourselves yet, in the field of Wild Leggyology.

I was irritated at mrfe doing 600, and he's one of my better friends on the site.

What I thought would be a calm walk around the Land of V was turned into a nightmare...

The legends were true: it exists. It appears from who knows where, and once it sets its eyes on you, you're done for. 

I was its next victim. I didn't even panic, maybe because I understood that the end was near for me. I waited, carefully watching that incredible creature, enjoying the moment. A moment that lasted a blink of an eye.

The Wild Leggy had chosen me. For once, I smiled at fate for having such a surprise reserved for me. I managed to even get a clumsy image of it before everything was over.

The first sighting in over a year... and it's brought an infection with it!

I was looking in the new posts page and I saw this. You have some explaining to do. Who are you? 

Now every 100th or so view of your name it'll show your old name instead of your new name (or whatever the count is per zebra name, I don't care to remember/find out).

Kind of interesting. I hope it doesn't get changed, because then 1/100 (or whatever the denominator is) times I will actually know who is posting/being talked about .

No, it was the first thing I tested when I got my name change, David hard-coded it so every time the "Zebra code" takes effect, the "l" becomes white, the "e" becomes black, etc etc etc.

That is to say, when he coded it, he didn't put a "white/black alternator" blanket over my name, which makes it unique from the rainbow banner of the TDV, which seems soft-coded to divide the name into four relatively equal parts.

It appears that the "Wild Legacyme3" is most prominent on huge boards, especially during posting surges.

This is backed up by the lack of activity from the Wild Legacyme3 in recent months. This month, there have been multiple sightings, including a new thread by JigSaw, investigating into this strange phenomena.

They say he only comes by once every couple months, and leaves as quickly as he arrives.

As I theorized earlier in this thread... he tends to appear in periods of heightened activity. Whether this is good or bad is a debate for another day, primary side effects seem to be more activity and a sense of overwhelming dread.

Scientists are still trying to figure out why this happens, the phenomenon nicknamed "Leggy" seems to cause massive amounts of insanity followed by screaming that shouldn't be possible by a human being, more similar to a horn. After a few minutes stopping in a episode of pure ecstasy for reasons that are currently unknown. Studies and tests are currently being done on scientists currently infected by it's effects.

15 years feels like a good reason to come back.

I spotted one rather recently when they replied to a thread I believe, these creatures seem to be rather infamous even though I don't have much experience with them. Yesterday I saw them too and they came in last second and snagged up first place in blue! :o Truly a force to be reckoned with.
