Hey fellow geezers,  I was trying to think of a clever thread idea for our forum (as geeogree: suggested).  As I was looking through my friend list I realized I don't really know anyone's real name (or very few at the least) and I am wondering how some users picked their screen name.  Some seem like they are probably last names or references to video games.  So please tell the group how your username came to be.  I'll summon a few "geezers" from my list!

I'll start with mine if you are curious.  It is actually from my first Hotmail email account from years ago.  I put 2 things from my 2 favorite comedy TV shows together: Kramer, the character from Seinfeld and 4077 from the show M*A*S*H (that was their unit number).

My username is just a messed up version of my last name.  LOL

When I first saw vizzed, I wasn't intending on getting so involved, and I was going to use my last name "Singell" as a username... you know... I didn't see the point in being creative and all.

Well, something went wrong with the registration, and I never did figure that out. I tried to resubmit the info, but it wouldn't let me due to the name being the same.  Thus, I decided to add a random letter at the end just to try and hit enter, and read the error more carefully.  Alas, the registration went through and this is where I am now!  

I'm just glad I put an i and not something really weird.  I'm kind of fond of 'Singelli' now, because it's almost like a combination of my first and last name.  (My first name is Kelli.)

Well really my username is just my Xbox Live gamertag.  I hate memorizing so many usernames and passwords for all kinds of schtuff so I just reused it.  At the time I got my Xbox I was super into Dirt (rally racing game) and Tekken6 (fighting game) and just combined my two favorite things into one title. My real name is Greg.

For lack of a better term "Gang name" ( That's Detroit for you ) It is also the name of the Killer Dog in the 80s horror classic......... CUJO. As for the name Cricket / Crickets, That was the name I came up with for the squad of guys I ran with causing all sorts of trouble. So there it is, Why I go by CujoCricket. Has nothing to do with the game " Cricket ".

Walker -- For my love of Zombies, and I love the fact that in the The Walking Dead they do in-fact call them "Walkers" which I do love.

To make it funny, about a year later it was pointed out that my birthday signs also fit in. My birthday is on July 28th; Leo's element is fire. kramer4077 : First of all those are some super epic shows right there, I love MASH, so much it silly.  Anyway.  Namrea is simply the name of a character in a story I have been perfecting for a few years.  It just stuck with me and I kept using it as a user name on most sites I frequent.

My names have been given to me at various points in my life.
I once played a gibson guitar during break in college and one person thought it was my name. So, for a semester I was called Gibson.
The other two names were given to me by people that are closer to me.
I think the combination means "Sly Hunter." Or "Deviant Space Case."
Either Or Will do.
I like the novelty of those nicknames.
Today. Everyone chooses their own name.
I miss the days when Others selected the titles for another person and it could mean one thing or another.
I use the combination on the internet for nostalgia reasons I guess.
