I would like to suggest that we would rather do the half mass-gifting one, and the other half to mass-gift the other.

But, when doing the votes, of course, most of the time there comes favoritism, or preference. Some people may randomly choose, which is cool beans, but it's mostly opinionated when it comes to voting. If we were to do another vote between the two, there comes more preference...maybe there is someone there who you don't want to win (God forbid), and you choose the other person. You really don't want any hate going into this. 

It would kinda be like choosing a team for basketball. There are two guys left, one athletic and good at basketball, and the other is an enthusiastic little kid who happens to be a little disabled. You want to win, so you 'kindly' disregard him and choose the other guy. 

Not saying that voting can help you win, but I mean, once the tallies are in, even if there is a tie, both of those users are winners...don't need to take that victory away from them

Alright everyone.... the votes are in! I'm so sorry for not getting to this earlier, but my husband had pneumonia and I wasn't feeling so hot either. The votes were VERY close, but there was a winner (by one vote!) for who we should mass gift. I doubt this person will read this thread, so I'm going to post it here instead of copy pasting the same pm to everyone. lol Just highlight the text to see it, or hit reply. The person we will be gifting is the illustrious tRIUNE himself! A major part of this forum, tRIUNE was the first person David trusted enough to put in a position of admin, after many years of refusing to appoint one due to previous bad experiences. tRIUNE is THE working bee of this site, and if it weren't for him, we'd hardly have a game room at all. He is the heart and soul that makes vizzed tick, and I don't think most people realize JUST how much work he does around here. He's also a fabulous person to get to know, and it's an honor to know him.


Since we will be gifting him, create your gift and post it to this thread. Make sure you summon him when you do so! Here are the instructions for creating the gift:


So I took a list of everyone participating and assigned everyone an item randomly. The list is below with your summon. Basically, this is sort of like a Secret Santa.



What's next? Well, with your assigned item, I want you to create something that compares the item to tRIUNE or somehow focuses on that item. You can write a short story, a poem, create a video, draw something.... whatever your imagination can possibly dream up.... You create it. However, remember that it must compare the item to tRIUNE or focus on the item. Since it's close to Thanksgiving, I think a nice goal would be to THANK tRIUNE for all his hard work, and to show him that he is loved and appreciated. For example, if you were assigned the word 'llama', you could write a poem about how tRIUNE could be compared to a llama, or even write a story about him and a talking llama who realizes how awesome he is. XD

A scientific study between the tRIUNE, and change.
tRIUNE, like change, is a very underrated thing. tRIUNE does lots of work to make sure all Vizzed's bells and whistles ding. tRIUNE is a person, Change is not, which makes tRIUNE cooler. If tRIUNE were synonymous with change, the change to change would be enormous. Change would no longer be associated with bad, but with all things gorgeous. To Vizzed tRIUNE has brought many a good change, he is like our White Mage. His greatness exceeds even that of Nicolas Cage. If I had a bijillion dollars, I would inscribe on the moon "There is no user greater than tRIUNE!". I hope you read this, I know my wordsmithing can at times be cruddy. But hey, I'm here for ya buddy. While writing this I just knew, during Thanksgiving I will certainly be thankful for you. THE END!

I realized that it's not a very good poem, so let me compensate by providing an analysis.


The first line is self-explanatory, so let's talk about the second line in the first stanza; "Rose above the ash-filled runes"

Let's talk about the runes part first. Runes are basically alluring letters of writing. Why I wanted to mentioned runes is because of how your username is spelled. Usually, most people would either capitalize the first word, make their username all lower-case, or make them all-caps. However, yours is different. Rather than capitalizing the first letter of your username, you decided to keep it lower-case while doing all-caps on the rest of your username. This is why I thought it was pretty 'runic'.

The "ash-filled" part comes from my thoughts of miners. Everyday, those miners work hard with their job. They spend long hours in the hot, dusty mines just doing their jobs. So long that they become covered in ashes and dust once they come out of the mines. Those are the proof of their hard work. This is why I think you rose above the other 'runes', it's because of your hard work in this mine we call Vizzed.


"His soul was of a piano."

Pretty much everything below this line will be about why I think you are like a piano. This is the noun assigned to me by Singelli.


The first line in the second stanza; "What a solo man!" is referring to how a piano is usually a solo instrument in a concert. I realized that whenever I request content for games, you're always the one who would go over them and either approve them or not. I wondered why it was always you. That's when I figured out that you're doing this all by yourself, right?


"Harmonically supporting the whole band!"

If they're not used as solo instruments, then they are usually a support for harmonies in an orchestra. Unfortunately for my limited knowledge, I don't really know what harmonies are. However, I put "supporting the whole band" because Vizzed has a lot of users mainly due to the RGR. Since you're the only one (I think) who adds the games in there, you're basically supporting majority of the site.


The third line of the second stanza; "His melancholic tunes captivate the Vizzed concerto" is an indirect way of how I perceive you to be. Melancholic because you're doing this all alone, right? It must suck being all alone in your performance. And yet, the pianist's skills are so amazing that the audience forget that he's playing a sad melody. This is how I see you; you work so hard that your skills overpower what you're actually doing in your job.


Last but not least, everything in the last stanza is how I would like you to see us, the audience. You may think that we're applauding you just for the courtesy of applauding, but that's not the case. We truly are grateful that you would take the time to compose and play us such fine pieces, Mr. Piano.

You have done a thing or two,
Vizzed Would not be the same without you.
You help it cross the line between fine and divine,
Let talk about you are so fine.

Vizzed was an empty forum,
Not many user, too much boredom.
You stepped in with the RGR,
Helped David get far, hooray hoorar!

Games came in all of a sudden,
They were all here at a click of a button.
More users were at the Vizzed door,
Now there was no room for you or the staff to snore.
You kept it up though,
Never gave up or went and gave that towel a throw.

There was a high demand of you,
More advance consoles needed to come through,
You did just what you do best,
Provided what you could even if you were in a lot of stress.

Then came a new feature,
Any normal member edit a game page, they could do anything like a creature.
Some it was dirty and really needed cleaning up,
You came in like a germ-x wipe and it was as clean as a drinking cup.

You had to verify the pages too,
I have even left work for you to do.
I woke up to 96 notifications,
I saw most of them were from you and knew you're always at your station.

There are longer lists of the things you have done,
I know I didn't name much but I am glad you have come.
This is mine and everyone's thanks,
For doing so much and making Vizzed strong like a tank.

As I said before you are like a Germ-X wipe,
This tank would be rusty,
from the caterpillar tracks to the firing pipe.
There isn't much else I can compare you to,
You keep the RGR above the fine line as you always do.
Again this is my thanks and everyone elses,
Now I am repeating myself and this poem/rap is becoming messes.
