Heya heya heya,you may know me from Pokemon reviews,or type overview,well you have at least seen the link to it before because i usually post 1 a day,but whatever,the point is there is not going to be one today,but as i always do,i am going to make up for that and give you guys something,by asking you a question,anyone want to guess what that question is..?

Well if you don't know your an idiot,the question is what do you think is the smartest Pokemon ever choose what you want,find a way to get data,i don't really care,personally i think the smartest Pokemon is Mewtwo,i know its a Stereotype,but i think/believe that Mewtwo is the smartest Pokemon,but hey maybe i am wrong,and that's why i am posting this question...along with the fact that there is not going to be a review today,or a type overview,anyway what do you think is the smartest Pokemon.

Mewtwo would be my choice also, though meowth for learning to talk to humans should also be considered.

For smartest Pokémon, I would go with Alakazam, having a recorded IQ of 500.

Well the obvious choice would be Alakasam. It basically has strong psychic Powers which would come in handy sometimes. Also it can bend spoon with just a simple move and not to mention that it has a pretty IQ number. Mewtwo is also a smart Pokémon as well but I'm going with Alakasam this time.

The most logical answer is Alakazam, based on it's Pokedex entries:

R/B: Its brain can outperform a super-computer. Its intelligence quotient is said to be 5,000.

Y: A Pokémon that can memorize anything. It never forgets what it learns -- that's why this Pokémon is smart.

C: It has an IQ of 5,000. It calculates many things in order to gain the edge in every battle.

R: Alakazam's brain continually grows, making its head far too heavy to support with its neck. This Pokémon holds its head up using its psychokinetic power instead.

S: Alakazam's brain continually grows, infinitely multiplying brain cells. This amazing brain gives this Pokémon an astoundingly high IQ of 5,000. It has a thorough memory of everything that has occurred in the world.

I think the Pokedex entries are intriguing, particularly the one on Ruby.

While Alakazam does seem like one of the most intelligent Pokemon, I'd have to suggest Metagross for the running of most intelligent Pokemon. It's an incredibly smart Pokemon that has four brains. According to the pokedex at least they can even out compete a supercomputer without much trouble. So this shows that Metagross' IQ has to be pretty high, as shown by it's Pokedex entry.

Y Pokedex entry: With four linked brains, it's more intelligent than a supercomputer, and it uses calculations to analyze foes.

Not sure if it is higher than Alakazam's though. So for the title of most intelligent Pokemon, I'd say it's between one of those two. Both are extremely intelligent though.

It's close between Mewtwo and Alakazam. They're both extremely effective in fighting, and show true smarts as well. I'll go with Mewtwo, with an influence from the Pokemon Movie.

Well I am not sure but the top 3 are Mewtwo Metagross, and Alakazam.I mean Mewtwo is smart but it seems Metagross and Alakazam would be way smarter. I would say Metagross because if it has 4 brains then it depends on how big an IQ is for one of the brains but I would guess they are about 1000 each and 1000x4=4000 and Alakazam has IQ of 5000. So now that I think about it Alakazam is the smartest

awesomeguy279 : Alakazam has an IQ of 5000, not 500. That makes it superior. Alakazam is the smartest Pokemon, no questions asked. It's not a matter of opinion, it's a fact.

Smaug : According to the pokedex, metagross is smarter than a supercomputer

I dont really care if a Pokemon can out compete a super computer the real question is can it juggle or talk? Mr. Mime can therefore he s the smartest Pokemon in the Poke universe.

Yeah I believe Alakazam is the smartest Pokemon because he is always carrying a spoon around.You may say "That's Dumb" but I'll say "wait till the next time you are eating lunch and you have this snack-pack that you have been craving all day to finally eat and you open it up and realize that you don't have a Silver Spoon. Yeah think about it.

I think it is a close one between Alakazam and metagross. Both can out smart a super computer and both have large brain power. Mewtwo is intelligent don't get me wrong, but to outdo a supercomputer requires a massive IQ. Alakazam's IQ is about 5,000 and metagross is somewhere between 4,000 and 5,000 depending on how high and IQ each of the 4 brains has. So altogether they are both very intelligent pokemon. I personally like metagross because of its stats which are much better than that of alakazam. 

Nevertheless though, those are the two I would pick as holder of the smartest pokemon ever. Cool thread by the way. 

I think it is Mewtwo. He does say "tiny, human brain" in the first movie .
