Is there anybody out there who is excited to see Ender's Game. It just came out today and I plan on seeing it tomorrow at the 34th Street AMC in IMAX 3D. I never read the book, but I know that it is supposed to be really good. I also know that the kid who stars as Ender is a good actor and that he also stared in Hugo and of course, Harrison Ford is good.

I really want to see it.  I loved the book when I read it some years ago.  However I am a bit worried the glorious storyline may get lost in what is sure to be many spectacular CGI affects.

I saw Ender's Game on Halloween. It was incredible! Made me cry, actually, and I'd read the book and predicted the ending within the first few chapters my first time reading the book so I knew what was coming. Asa was amazing as Ender, as expected. They did seem like they were trying to press Petra's role a bit too much though; I assume to create an unnecessary love interest or something. (I'm sorry, but I just can't ship that.) The battle room scenes were very creatively shot. I'm a bit disappointed to see that they left out Demosthenes and Locke entirely, but I suppose I understand why they did it. I guess after your advanced language arts class dissects the book literally down to the word searching for metaphors, you just get more passionate about "Whaaaat? But come on! Abra was so metaphorically significant!" Overall, it was a great movie. Great acting, great visuals, and generally very true to the book, considering. If you liked the book, or enjoy a good Sci-Fi, you should definitely see it. (It has Asa Butterfield, everyone! You have to go!)

I saw ender's game yesterday with my mom i wanted to go see it cuz of Harrison Ford which by the way he kick's ass on the movie air force one, he still has the toughness voice in him witch i like, i haven't read the books nor have i heard about them so this was all a surprise to me '
