Surgiac paced, as the anxiety was getting to her. She was 99% positive that the person she'd been targeting nearly the whole game was a member of the mafia...

The moments passed, and felt like minutes. The minutes felt like hours. And the hours... well, they felt more like something longer than an hour, but not quite forever. Point is, the suspense was killing her.

And soon, the others hoped, it would kill mrfe.

Little do they know though, you can't hang a tree.

So no one dies.

The final night round could be upon us at any moment, and the quiet stills the hall...

Most important, is the move of the mafia tonight. There are two moves they could make tonight to guarantee themself victory. As such, their probability of winning was high. Let's recap.

Currently, it is known there are between 1-3 mafia left. It is known that mrfe is a tree. supernerd117 claimed to be a Leggyist. That only left a few names left in the air. Frodlex, earthwarrior, Surgiac, patar4097 and totaldramaman2. One of these was the all illusive godfather. And one of them was an assassin. The odds of hitting a game ending target were 50%.

So a veritable coin flip.

The godfather left their room, intent on his next kill, little did he know, it would be his last...

Because he met his target in his room, and his target was ready for him.

The two of them began their mighty struggle.

"You, you were the threat to the mafia all along, weren't you Frodlex?" cried earthwarrior.

Frodlex replied, "I may have been, or I may not have been, threat is purely subjective."

Their jibber jabber went back and forth.

Ultimately though, the two were too skilled.

earthwarrior and Frodlex killed each other at the same time. They were the Godfather and Assassin respectively.

And when day came around, it was a simple matter for the last surviving member of the mafia to finish off the last member of the town, totaldramaman2. He was a very inactive Border Patrol.

The last remaining human member of the mafia left that infernal city, not particularly caring about the survivor. He wouldn't talk, his bribe was too good to pass up.

As he left the protective custody of Innocent Town, he noticed the sky had cleared up in the time he had been locked away. It felt so nice, and looked so beautiful. But he was the only one left standing. patar4097 shed a single tear for his comrades, who had dominated the town for most of the game. Then they seemed to drop like flies.

And being the insomniac he is, he'll have no choice but to remember those who died for him.

supernerd117 against the odds, found a way to survive the chaos. He's a survivor, and his praises of Leggy kept him safe at night. As he crept out of his hiding hole for the last time, he looked at the state of affairs in Innocent Town. Nearly everyone he knew was dead. Most everyone he didn't know was dead.

Surviving is sometimes not a great thing. Outlasting those around you means you witness more death, despair. You have to shoulder the burden of every friend dying, and everyone crying. There are no happy endings for those who witness such events as these.

He left Innocent Town later that night, once the mafia had long deserted the town. But with nowhere to go in an apocalypse ravaged world, one has to wonder if his leaving is merely temporary.

Once all the players left, Leggy rose from his chair. He was finding it more difficult than usual.

It was at that moment of non-flight that he realized his plan had come to fruition. He was now flesh and blood again, alive as he ever was. Smiling, he reached for his lemonade and sipped happily.

After all that had happened, and all the death that had been encountered... the only person truly happy with everything, was he.

So the game is now over, Mafia 6teen is finito. Mafia 17 will be sometime in the future, but first, we have a new game to play.

MAFIA 6TEEN MVPS

This game had a lot of ups and downs. Mostly downs. That made choosing the usual three MVPs rather difficult, but I suppose, we can find three who deserve it.

1. supernerd117 - He didn't particularly do anything during the game to warrant suspicion, which is exactly what you want when your entire role is survival. He also made an unprecedented move on the final night. This move was to bribe the remaining alive players to not kill him. Not against the rules, and how you win within the rules is just as important as winning.

2. mlb789 - This is a case of somehow surviving despite the odds saying he shouldn't. You will see when the role sheet is shown, but he was investigated on night 1 by a sheriff, narrowly avoided death on day 1 by a rule technicality, was investigated by ANOTHER sheriff on night 3, investigated by the bad cop on night 4, and survived all the way to day 7. In a game where two legit sheriffs actually find your identity and you don't die, surviving to this stage is impressive and deserves attention.

3. Frodlex - He may not have won in the end, but there's a reason for my rationale. This is the largest game of mafia we've ever had in terms of people. As such, the odds were stacked against Frodlex, as it is harder and harder to win with more people and thus more rounds. He lasted until the very end, being killed by the Godfather, who probably just assumed he was on the town's side. Ultimately, Frodlex captured a grand total of 0 votes during the day round. And if not for the roleclaim of supernerd117, and reveal of mrfe as a tree the day before, he may have ended up winning. At any rate, this was the first game with an assassin, and it was played as well as could be expected.

MAFIA ROUND 16

Potato Rule - "If any player claims the role "Sheriff" then the players next to them on the "room list" will be told their actual role. If a second player should claim the role "Sheriff", they will be declared "Mafia" to the person following them. All consecutive "Sheriff" role claims will be dealt with the same way the latter is."

NOTE - Player must say something akin to "I am the sheriff." Hinting at a role does
not count.

I was rooting for the Assassin the whole time, despite only knowing what roles there are and not who had what (And not following the thread)

I honestly was saying the only MVPs should be the Assassin and the Leggyist, because a couple of thirds were right there at the end. The Mafia was shooting themselves, and the Town's cops were worthless beyond worthless.

About the only thing I'm good at in mafia is causing confusion. :/



At least, when I was the Godfather, I survived that game.

Good job, earthwarrior. You really had me fooled. Or, perhaps, that was due more to patar. Either way, I got duped by 2 mafia members. Shame on me.

earthwarrior : You do a former Godfather proud. You played innocent pretty well. 

Note - totaldramaman2 "may" be banned from Round 17.

He cites real life issues for getting in the way of playing the game.

Keeping this in mind, he made a total of four posts throughout the time of the game, which ranged from 10-29-13 to 12-18-13 (I don't count today, since I was just doing the final update).

Over a span of 1 1/2 months, he made a grand total of 4 posts, and sent in 2 PMs over 8 nights. Had I waited on him for the 9th night round, it would have likely been 2 in 9.

I get that life happens, I do. But I have a game to run, which is only fun when everybody is participating. I know you can't predict real life, and this may be an unfair punishment, but the way I see it, any life problem severe enough to keep you away from Vizzed for nearly 2 months is likely severe enough that it won't be solved by the time Mafia 17 happens in Late January/Early February.

I haven't made my final decision, but I'm leaning to barring him from round 17.

earthwarrior : Honestly I am surprised I lasted all the way to the end. Either I had enough intelligence to play my cards right or I was just plain lucky.  But it was a fun game in the end and I enjoyed it.

mlb789 : Nothing personal at all, but you seemed like the easiest to frame as the assassin on several occasions, I doubt I would have lastest long if it weren't for your presence in the game, I owe you that much.

I was able to figure out a lot of roles just by sitting back and watching, if it weren't for that and carefully planning out every move I took I would've probably died much earlier on. I was hoping I could leave it down to Supernerd and Totaldramaman the later of which I knew was inactive and most likely mafia. Meaning I would have a victory with not doubt as long as I wasn't killed, but alas I was. It doesn't surprise me though, I was the most likely choice at that time for any mafia member, being the only "bystander" left in the game and all. Supernerd having supposedly being the leggyist, Mrfe and Surgiac rather obviously being trees the whole game. It was still fun. Someone should converse about this game with me though because I truly enjoyed it as my first.

Frodlex : Was I that obvious? I honestly would've played more carefully if I'd had even a bystander role. I still stink at figuring out who mafia is with the exception of mlb. I kind of had him pegged early on. I noticed he voted for me quite often. lol


You did really well. I didn't think you were mafia but I also didn't think you were the Assassin. I really enjoyed the fact that you & earthwarrior killed each other that last night.

Surgiac : Am I the only one who is not satisfied with Earth and I killing each other? Actually.. Come to think of it I am. He's the one who killed A user of this... And I set out for a quest of revenge, and I claimed it with my dying breath. So I can take that and be happy with it. Would've been better if it hadn't been my dying breath though. But eh, I have no regrets and I can't really complain. Now that mafia is over I think it's time to change my profile pic again.

On the subject of how obvious it was.. Well the thing that always got me is how careless you seemed (I realize that it was because you were the tree, but that's my point, let me continue.) You didn't seem to care who knew you were town and who didn't. You played a lot riskier than most people would, I got to thinking as to why, but the most likely reason I could come up with was that you were a tree, judging by the way you acted the whole time it wasn't all too hard to catch on. But I didn't share my knowledge because I wanted to seem like no threat what so ever to anyone at all. You honestly seemed like the most dangerous to me with you constant starting of bandwagons, plus trees can make incredibly good info sources and "spies" so to speak due to their invincibility.

Frodlex :

The funny thing is, that you aren't allied with the town, nor do you count as a "bystander" with regards to ratios.

The only reason the mafia didn't win 2-3 night rounds ago was because you were still alive. The mafia can't win while the assassin is alive, nor can the town. So while your goal was to kill everyone, the town owes you for keeping them in it for that long.

I'll make a couple notes below, as an impartial observer.

1. The town absolutely sucked. If you were a bystander, or a special role aligned with the town, take a good long look at this game. You were absolutely destroyed as a team, to the point where you had to rely on one of your sworn enemies to keep you in it. A large part of your problem was you never spoke during the day rounds, and when you did, you often had no basis for your claims other than "because I think so." Behavior in voting and posting should always be taken into account. There were 2 or 3 obvious threats you could have eliminated by just paying attention.

2. The assassin role performs as expected. I used this game as a trial run, and can say I plan on using the assassin more going forward. I don't think Frodlex could have played it much better, all things considered, because the role is so new, even I would take some time to come up with a decent long term strategy for the role. What helped Frodlex is the fact he's low key. Despite his awareness of the game, I HIGHLY doubt someone like myself or silverthundr would have lasted long, simply because we are who we are. If Frodlex continues this performance going forward, he may join the group of players you policy kill on night 1.

3. I touched on it in 1, but there were a lot of obvious roles in this game, if I look at it objectively. The three that call out to me the most are mlb789, Surgiac, and Popeye116. All three are mafia. And in all but one case (Surgiac's) this is a very bad thing. Surgiac being revealed wouldn't have been a big deal, as she's a tree and can't die. Really, her being revealed would have helped the mafia. So the fact AuraBlaze saved the Mafia Tree in the middle of the game may be one of the better moves. I doubt he knew her role, but if he did that's an EXTREMELY shrewd move.

4. Voting rounds need more activity. Again, touched on this earlier, but voting is when most information comes out. You don't need to STICK to your votes. That's why I give you three days to change it. Lack of communication is akin to failure.
