I believe in hard and bad luck. I went to take out the trash and saw a painting next to the garbage bin I thought was neat and took it with me. On my way back to my apartment the elevator stalled and I was stuck there for an hour .Now I am thinking I should just throw the damn thing away like its previous owner. Who knows, it might be an coincidence or the painting is just bad luck.

I don't really believe in luck, I believe in the good or bad things you do in life will come back around and effect you. I believe in some things being lucky or you can get lucky, but as a user said I don't believe in lucky hats or clothes or even lucky charms in that matter to give you good luck. 

I do believe in karma though, or what comes around goes around. But as far as luck may go, I do not believe in lucky items or certain concepts or beliefs that some people have about luck.

Well it depends on how you define luck I guess.

If by luck you mean that chance tends to be in your favor, then that does exist, but as far as luck being some mystical force that surrounds a rabbit foot or a four leaf clover, I'd have to say that that form of luck does not exist.

I really don't believe that good and bad luck thing though, like good luck, having a horseshoe, a 4+ leaf clover, and other lucky things, and also the bad luck things like stepping on a crack, a black cat crossing your path, spilled some salt, or any other bad luck things, those things happen naturally like any other things you have.

i dont believe in luck either.when i was a kid i used to say c mon better be something good this time so give me luck but i never did get luck so yeah it sucks.but i kind of think that bad luck does exist because i tried to climb a roof and i fell hard but good thing i didnt break a bone.and then when i was playing call of duty black ops 2 i tried to get my perks but then i said to my cousin imagine that i dont make it then a mob of zombies trap me and then i got down i raged hard i was really mad but that would be a no i dont believe in luck. great thread by the way zed

The idea of luck feels good, It's nice to think that there is some divine power that governs over our successes and failures for some reason. However, luck and religion are both created out of the same paradigm; they offer an explanation for events that would otherwise would go "unexplained."
