Hey, guys! I know I said I'd make this yesterday, but I was really busy, and I had a lot of homework . So I made it today! Who, in your opinion, is Ash Ketchum from the Pokemon franchise's best rival? My personal favorites are Gary and Paul ! They were actually really mean to Ash, and in my opinion deserved their places as major rivals! Well, who's your favorite?

It has to be Gary. He has been a rival from the very beginning so a sense of good old times comes into this. He was around back when Pokemon was at its best (back when it was good in my opinion) so that makes me happy so when I see a character like that it makes e think back a few years to when I loved pokemon. I think he has cool hair too!

Well I would have to say Paul . That guy was grossly overpowered . We was tough and did not keep weak Pokemon . Even though Ash beat him at the League I still think he was stronger than Ash . But the main Protagonist rarely loses . But Ash did get beat by Tobias in that final . Poor Ash . Tobias had a Darkrai and Latios . Ash was doomed

I have to say Gary Oak as well. They have both been rivals before they even received their first Pokemon. Really wished we could have seen the other rivals that were talked about in Pallet Town, but Gary was the one that drove Ash into becoming a better trainer in the first place. His other rivals are fine as well but Gary Oak will always be number 1. Plus he had cheerleaders.

I would like to say Gary Oak. Paul isn't that much of a rival in my opinion, just some guy who mistreats his Pokemon and just looks forward too beating Ash. 

Gary is probably more successful than Paul too...in FR/LG, he's the Pokemon Champ. But that doesn't really regard Ash, does it.

I am not one of those 'original FTW' kind of people, however we can all safely say Gary Oak. He's like the only one that really had a 'rivalry feeling' towards Ash. + He's the only one with a bunch of different pokemon.
