What are some things that give you a peace of mind? 

For me, I love jazz, and I listen to some jazz if I am ever stressed out. The whole complexity and abstractness of jazz itself soothes me, and helps me concentrate. I do not feel worried, but rather immersed in the music. 

When it is raining, and I am in bed, I snuggle a bit tighter, very happy and relaxed because I know I have a bed to sleep in, and the sound of rain tappity-tapping on my house lets me know that I have a house to live in. Unfortunately, there are others who do not have this luxury. 

A hug from my mom reassures me and soothes me because she loves me, and really cares for my well-being and my future. Yes, she can get on my nerves at times, but she is doing her best to care for me.

Im not entirely convinced this is the right forum, this seems more like general chat or polls and questions.

The 2nd one is me to a tee, i especially love it when the wind is howling or theirs thunder in the distance, its like being a child in your pillow fort.

If im stressed playing agame often relieves me too.

Snowboarding is great too, theirs nothing else in the world for those few, sweet minutes.

And of course having a drink with friends
