So here I am again, asking the community what kind of cleaners you use for your computer. It can vary from the built-in Microsoft cache cleaner to Advanced System Pro and anything else you may have.

What I use:

CCleaner (With CCEhancer)

System Ninja

BleachBit

You can add your own, but as I see it, this is about the most popular ones.

bleachbit? what have you been up to?

I just use Norton utilities, it does all that stuff and more. It came free with my antivirus, which i also got heavily discounted so a bargain is an understatement.
I dont tend to bother bleaching the harddrive though, it takes more time than i can justify.

I as well use Norton, but mostly because my mom likes them an installs them on every computer device lol.

McAfee is nice too, really easy to use.

And yes, I never heard of the ones you stated above either.

I use a mixture. I use CCleaner, the clean up section in the drives properties and WinDirStart, which is a fabulous program that shows you exactly where huge chunks of data is stored and what the file is. Won't delete anything though, I just use it for fine nit-picking.

I use the windows disk defragmenter to get rid of any unwanted data. It speeds my computer up a rather lot and since my computer is only a netbook it needs a good defragment after every month of use. I sometimes just go onto my uninstaller and just look for files / programs that I have never heard of and well get rid of them...
Sidewinder : I used to user McAfee but it did not spot a virus and that virus was a trojan! I had to rebuild my computer to get rid of it!

If my computer is dirty, I usually unplug everything, take it out to the garage, and blow it out with an air compressor. It gets out all of the dust that might make it overheat. Although in your case, this might not be the best option.

If you need to get rid of viruses and other rubbish, I usually use Microsoft Security Essentials. It's free and works rather well. If your computer has a bunch of crapware on it, I also recommend re-installing the operating system. Someone else also recommended WinDirStat, a very good program if you want to analyze your disks for large programs you don't want.

Disk Deframenter doesn't get rid of unwanted data, it completely rearranges and moves around all the files on your hard disk in a more organized manner so it can be accessed faster. I usually do this twice a year.

I usually just use Ccleaner. My laptop stays pretty clean most of the time because I don't do a lot of downloading anymore. Although if one of my desktops needs cleaning out outside I unplug all the cords off of it take it outside and clean the dust out.

I don't. I just delete files I don't need and clear my internet browser every once in a while. I use Windows Defender, so it clears out most of the junk that could be harmful. I haven't used even a tenth of my laptop memory yet, so this is a question for a few years down the road.

I personally use CCleaner, and Auslogics Boostspeed.

Auslogics Boostspeed is an all-in-one utility suite that does all the maintenance you need.

My laptop came with both Norton and McAfee built in, and I think that both of them are doing a very good job with keeping my computer safe.
