Okay, hey guys. So I hope this doesn't turn into TDV bait. Anyways, what do you think is wrong with your school? Like is the teachers bad? Students not being good? Dirty rooms? etc... Also, to prevent that pointless thread problem, your reply to my thread MUST be at least 40-50 words. ok?

So for me, the bathroom is dirty, the students would vandalize things in my school at times, the teachers would sometimes not teach us anything but give us lots of homework and the school lunch is expensive and Horrible! It tastes really bad and just makes me sick. How about you guys?

I will tell you what, the teachers don't teach! I am being serious with this, a few weeks ago we had a test in German that we were not told about, and nothing on it the teacher had told us about! It is the same for every one of my teachers except for my SS teacher. But the rest, bad.

This might sound like the cries of a non sport-centered theater teacher. But I hate how much focus the sports teams get compared to the rest of the teams and clubs. For example, this school recently got an entirely new turf field. And here is the kicker. Almost none of their games take place there. Almost all of the home games take place on the football field of the University here. They don't even practice on the new field, as they already have a practice field. So they spent a but load of money for something that almost never gets used. Being the theater teacher, I run the auditorium. A lot of our curtains are in desperate need of updating as quite a few are torn and ripped. Our lighting system is very old. So old that every time something in the lighting system breaks down, it can't be repaired because there are no longer replacements for them. The system is that outdated. But does that get replaced? Nope. And it bugs me because my department is given such a low budget. We pretty much have to sustain ourselves with money we get from fund raising and money we make from the shows. The football team gets new stuff all the time and they NEVER fund raise. The argument is because of all the people that pay to see the football games. But here is the thing. There has NEVER been a home football game that made money. No matter how much they make in ticket sales and concession stands, they ALWAYS end up losing money. But they get practically unlimited funding. My department actually makes a profit with the shows. Sure, a small profit, but a profit nonetheless. So unfair.

Yeah, I mean, some of the teachers are actually good and all, but then again, they really don't do to well of a job teaching, like my earth science teacher's routine was, give an assignment for a new topic, with some homework, and then quiz next class and the class after that, a big test, she never taught us a single thing, we had to review all of our notes and stuff if we wanted to do well on our quizzes and tests, so yeah it was kind of annoying.

Plus, all of the kids at my school are ignorant, insolent fools, but that isn't really a problem with the school, but I just thought I would put it out there since that is what I have to deal with every single day. I think a thread like this already existed if I am not mistaken, but I could be wrong though.

But yeah last year and throughout the years of being in school, I have had those teachers that just give you book work and expect you to commit everything to memorization, and they never actually teach you a thing. So that is the one major thing I find wrong with some teachers in my school. Only a few were like this though, most of my teachers are awesome!

My college is great, but the only thing wrong with it is the size. The campus is huge! Once I get off the bus right by the main gate, it takes 15 minutes to get to my class.

I have some horrible kids in my class in my 7th period class. They constantly fight with the teacher and it gets really annoying when I'm trying to figure out how to do something in my math class. My school's bathrooms are completely HORRIBLE. That's all I can say about that. My School's lunch is pretty nasty too. We eat the same thing about 3 times a week and it tastes pretty stale the last day especially since I have the last lunch shift so all the food is cold sometimes too.

I no longer go to school, but I hope you don't mind me responding to this thread.

When I was at Secondary school there was lots of things wrong with it, to the point where some teachers just purposely outed kids in the class to embarrass them -- Like school isn't hard enough as it is. The toilets were always dirty, and had strange things stuck to the ceiling at all times, which on occasion fell down and hit innocent people. (Normally rolled up, used toilet roll from what it looked like.)

But for me, the worst thing about my school was the bullying, especially in sports. I learnt how cruel children really could be in the few years I spent at secondary school, they never had an off switch.

My school kinda has nothing. Our science textbooks look like complete garbage. Our school has no money. But our school somehow has the money to be able to buy 30 ipads and 3 i macs for our school. Now i wonder why our school has literally no money at all.

My school ; Cornwall College ; is a good institution that provides the necessary knowledge and tools that prepare you for the adult life . BUT  . It does have some flaws . Well it is not the school that is the problem so much it is the students there that I can't stand . Not all are bad but some just ruin the experience for the rest of us . If those guys leave then the school will be better or even the best

My school is in a neighborhood of rich people. Not completely the upper class, but richer than the middle class.

This being said, there are a LOT of people with iPhones, the latest technology, all that stuff. And to be quite frank and honest, many of them are spoiled.

I think I am part of a few who are not rich as they are.

Also, my high school is not very diverse...no mixing or race as much as in other schools.
This probably leads to a lot of "unorthodoxism" (if that's a word) in regards to if there ever is any mixes of races at our school. All of us are absolutely fine with different races, it's just not common, so many people will have to get used to it. There are a few african-americans and hispanics at my high school, but very little.

This being said, there are many stereotypes about rich white kids, and to be honest, some of it is true and applies at my high school and neighborhood. So I guess that could be the "wrong" in our school, if there are stereotypes that show any sort of mean actions and such.

However, my neighborhood is not bratty (for lack of better terms), snobbish, or ignorant like you tend to see a lot (in shows, movies, etc.) these days. My high school is actually ranked the number one high school in my state, CT.

Sure, we have fun sometimes, but regarding academics, we are very solid.

I did not mean to offend anyone, if anyone was actually offended by this post.

My school is ok, for the most part, but it has it's fair share of issues, too.
For one, it is really freaking tiny. We have a limited amount of teachers for a limited amount of students, and some teachers aren't that great. I learned nothing in computers except how to use Photoshop, which I easily could've done on my own time '
The other is my English teacher. The guy loves my work and stuff, which is fine, but what annoys me is the FAVOURITISM!! A friend and I worked on a project together, shared the work equally and all that and my friend ACTUALLY got a lower mark than me! How does that happen? It annoys me to no end, and he doesn't even teach us anything! He just sits around, makes us read books and summarise them and maybe teach us a vocabulary word or two! I learned NOTHING last year, and it annoys me that I don't learn from a subject that I otherwise LOVE to bits!

My school isn't actually that bad, for a high school. High school just really isn't a good place for me. I mean, I love learning, but the people are just out of control!
But anyway, one of the worst things wrong with my school specifically is that our hallways are probably 200% too thin. In my school different subjects are in different areas, and the area in the middle literally gets so packed with students that you can't even move. It makes me feel super claustrophobic, like I can't even breathe, not to mention that it holds me up a lot and makes me almost late for class. I have no idea why they thought our thin little hallways were a good idea when you literally have to force, shove, and swerve your way through an immoveable river of people to get anywhere. It's terrible!

I think there are too many people at my school. The schools in the Albion district closed down before school started and now there are 90 people in my gym class. And now I have to go to the weight room four times a week

My school is actually a pretty good school, for the most part. However, there are a couple of things wrong with it. First off, the bathrooms (At least the men's bathroom is) is extremely dirty. It always stinks, and you are lucky to find one which is flushed, and to top it off, there is graffiti EVERYWHERE! Like, not even kidding.
Second off, we have to buy what we want to buy (Not the worst part, though) Although it is mostly chips and candies, and there is no healthy food or anything, and the prices are ridiculously high. Almost 20 pesos (Around 2 dollars) for some chips, which in other stores they cost less than halve of that.
Besides that, the teachers are pretty decent for the least, and the school system is kind of strict, so there are no rude teachers or students.

There are a number things I find "wrong" with my school. Primarily the way the 'food chain' of students works though. If you don't have a phone, or if you get good grades, or if you are nice, you can't be popular. This makes you a 'nerd'.So I'm proud not to be popular at my school.

My problem is that there's too many people. I don't mean that i feel uncomfortable with all the kids there, i mean there are more kids than the school can accomadate. The school was built for, i think 500 people, but houses about 650. We get more every single year. The board dose'nt want to do anything about it, either. At least i'll be gone next year!

Even if my school is good in my school most things are bad like: restrooms smell horrible you need to cover your nose, there is little food and 5th graders leave us with almost nothing, sometimes they send us too much homework even if we don't know the topic, the classrooms are very dirty (just my classroom is the dirtiest though), and there is almost no control over every student, but not any problems with the teachers as far as i know.
