I recently notice that early on in TdV, they were like new posts like every second and now we're in the 2nd half of TdV, it seems like the post counts seem to slow down, I'm not sure if it's that people are getting a little to bored with TdV or it's with the new rules added in that is keeping things in control. But yeah, you think it seem a little slower than the start of TdV or is it just me.

Yeah it does seem that after the first week or 2, things really start to settle in and that is when I try to focus most of my posts when the competition isn't as fierce.

But I do find it increasingly difficult to find places to post. I think some users are either frustrated and quit, they either are bored or not motivated. Or they are just discouraged because of all of the new rules being put into place. It is usually one of those things that make the post rate seem to slow down. So yeah I have noticed this as well.

Yes, I agree. But I think it is not because of lack in newbie members' participation, but I think it is because there are only few interesting threads that could make an interesting conversation about a specific topic. From the past 12 days of my stay here in vizzed, I only saw about 10 interesting threads that caught my attention, and most of them aren't even being noticed any more. This might be because there are more useless threads that are being placed on the top of each forum because users are very desperate in increasing their post count.

This is just my opinion, if you disagree with me and my post, just let me know why.

I can explain. People go fast post, they get tired and burn out, people are not persistent enough to post 100 times a day for 30 days, it is just cray if you do that. I try to make a lot of long posts for the red jersey on the last few days of it, when people are tired.

It's a combination of laziness and being burnt out. Oh, and they also run out of threads.

People usually go for the gold in the first week, which is sort of... uhm, not smart. That's why, near the middle and end, everybody's a slug, and has no determination or strategy. That's when the others take over, and then the last week is tug of war.

Yea. Its probably nothing new and I'm not surprised. The TDV competitors will have energy at the beginning and they will keep posting like crazy until they are out of threads and out of threads ideas to the point that only the top leaders will slowly keep going.
