Barathemos : Well, it's the Internet. People can't filter what they post, so some of them are more... pain-inducing... than others. For example, Adrisaurus and ShadowLink whatever the numbers at the end are just happen to be amazing fan covers. Others... not so much.

I only sometimes listen to covers and dubs. I generally use the like to dislike ratio to judge if I should stay on the video before it loads though. There are some really good cover artists out there.

Take Daft Punk's hit, Get Lucky. I like to listen or the original, but I recently found a really awesome indie band named San Cisco, how really did an awesome job with a cover of Get Lucky.

Yeah I normally don't listen to them very much. I just stick to the original stuff to be honest. I would only listen to them if I heard that it was really good quality, then I might give it a try. Otherwise, I wouldn't really bother doing so.

yes i hear to fan covers sometimes most people do good some just like to troll so not all the time i listen to covers.But i do look up tutorials on how to do a cover because i like to use the guitar and dont sing so that is my hobby.And i agree that if they are good at it some people just change up the whole song.Other than that you made this a good thread and so yes i do hear to fan covers but only if it is good and not bad

Yes I do listen to listen to fan covers and dubs. (More covers than dubs though) One of the only music I listen to is Utattemita, which is mainly about covering am existing song, and it's usually very good. Then again, I mainly listen to Japanese and Vocaloid music.
