All the surgeries I have had has been quick and painless (I have had no serious ones). Tell her to be careful with the pain pills (I am sure she will get them, I think you do for any surgery.), they made me feel worse then I did before, they will plug you up if you know what I mean.

The surgery was successful and everything went well. She is eating real food and will leave the hospital tomorrow morning. She will not be able to do physical activity or lift anything heavier than 5 pounds.

Well that is good to hear man, I am glad everything went well and I said a small prayer for your mom yesterday. I said something along the lines of "Dear god, please make sure the mother of one of my dearest vizzed friends, tgags has a successful surgery and everything goes well.

For about 6-8 weeks make your mother doesn't any heavy lifting and gets plenty of rest.
