Well personally I have always thought that Groudon, Arceus and Dialga are the strongest legendary pokemon in my opinion, as well as Zekrom which has awesome moves like thunder and a whole bunch of other great dragon type moves. Arceus of course because it is like invincible and the creator of pokemon, so of course it would be the strongest of all the pokemon.

As far as regular pokemon, I think Machamp, Metagross and tyrannitar are the strongest. I think that they are just awesome and powerful because of their stats and their move sets. Good thread question by the way.

This thread seems like it cause a bit of flaming but I'll answer it anyway. Arceus is definitely the strongest Pokémon, mainly because he created all of the Pokémon (except mewtwo). Dialga can control time so this Pokémon is definitely a strong one. And mewtwo is just boss so lets just put this one in the mix as well. This is my opinion on the three strongest Pokémon in existence.

Out of the pokemon all together wow, that is hard choice for me but after experiencing many Over Powered Pokemon I'd have to say the 3 I would chose are, Victini, Arceus and possibly Slaking, I'm thinking of these pokemon because I know most of their movesets and what items to put on them especially Slaking.

It depends on what you mean by 'strongest.' I would think Machamp is an incredibly strong Pokémon, as well as Garchomp and Metagross. I'm not including legendary Pokémon for obvious reasons.

I would have to say Arceus, Lugia, and Rayquaza. (It's really cool that Slaking is in the mix of all the strong legendaries). 

Arceus, the grandpappy of all Pokemon, why wouldn't he be the strongest? 

Rayquaza is a powerhouse, definitely not the strongest powerhouse of the legendaries, but his Attack stats really help him out there.

Lugia is overwhelming with very nice Def. and S.Def. stats, and just takes too long to catch. 

I am going a bit too general on this, but you can get the gist of it.

But honestly I am sure pokemon can only be as strong as how they are trained . How are there strengths tested ? If it is by battling then I can train normal weak pokemon to defeat even legends so I guesss the three stringest pokemon are the nes that recieve the most and best training and can use it well
