I've posting in a thread like this somewhere before... But, as I have no proof, I'll answer.

I'm actually a perfect weight for my age. I LOVE to eat, I love to drink, but the doctor (and most everyone else) says I'm pretty good weight-wise. I'm sort of built-up (not like a bodybuilder, but built up nonetheless), and love having some chow, but I'm still a good weight.

I am considered just right, for being 6 ft tall, I am about 134 pounds or so which I think is normal. But yeah I am not super scrawny and anorexic and I am not obese either. So I think I am normal weight for my height anyways.

DittoDude44 : Don't worry about it, when I was in 4th grade or whatever grade you were in, I was about 65 pounds, it isn't that big of a deal. Now there are kids that are like 200 pounds in my grade and they are huge. So you will bulk up as you get older, don't worry about it

Hey to help you guys with this designation, there's an over-simplified formula to use as a general guide. It's called the Body Mass Index, or BMI for short. It has its share of flaws, especially with people who are extremely muscular, and I don't particularly like it either. That said, I do think it's a good start, and helped me to gauge my weight loss when I started to work out harder a few years ago. So the formula is weight/height^2:

kilograms/ meters^2

Or if you use pounds and inches

pounds/inches^2.... and then multiply that answer by 704, which is simply the conversion factor for the units to keep the same scale. And here's that scale.
Under 18 = Underweight
18.5-25 = Normal weight
25-30 = Overweight
30 + = Obese
40 + = Morbidly Obese

For example, Razor-987: is about 18.2, which would just barely be classified underweight. Now does that mean that's unhealthy? Absolutely not, and it could be perfect for his/her size. Another reason why this system can be flawed.

I would probably be considered normal. The last time I had my weight checked was at the doctors office and I believe I was about 138 or so finally. I'm a pretty skinny dude, kinda always have been.

I think that I'm considered underweight because I am very tall and only weigh a mere 148 lbs., which is very little for my height. If I'm not underweight then I'm on the very low end of normal. This stuff doesn't really bother me because I don't have any problems with it... yet.

I think some of you guys would be completely shocked to know the ACTUAL definitions and qualifications for overweight and underweight.  while I was away from vizzed, I used a calorie counting site called "My Fitness Pal", and I learned a TON of information.  People were always talking about stuff like this and posting pictures to give visuals of the actual measurements.

Seriously... I'm considered obese BMI standards.  This is really quite ludicrous because I have a small 'beer gut' and a little fat over the rest of my body.  I think my BMI is like 30-something percent, but I don't look that bad off.
