With the release of X and Y, the whole concept of mega evolutions has been added. My question is simple, who is your favorite?

For me, it would have to be Mega Houndoom. I just love the guy's looks.

I don't own the games, so I've only seen the mega evolutions that were released earlier. Out of the ones i've seen, Mega Charizard X is probably my favorite, but my opinion could change when I see some more.

I can't chose there all cool looking! But if I have to I'd say mega gyrados, mega arggon or mega gengar got me really hooked on waiting until I can finally get the game so I'm going with those mega evolutions.

I think mega tyranitar and also mega aggron and aerodactyl look pretty awesome. As for the starters, I think blastoise looks pretty cool with its 3rd blaster.

I am going to get X whenever I can and I a going to see for myself, just how awesome they are. Most of the mega evolution are pretty cool, but the ones I have mentioned above are my favorites. I think mega gengar looks a little creepy and weird though. Good question though! I will be sure to mention other mega evolutions I think are cool if they happen to come to mind!

I think it will have to be mega pinsir. It honestly looks the best out of all of them.

I agree, I bought the games, but I have not played them yet. Though from looking at all the online pictures, I agree that the Mega Charizard X just looks awesome, any game could be improved by having that one Pokémon. I also really like the one for Gyrados.

I would have to say Mega Blazekin.  The event torchic is already very overpowered, and with the addition of a mega evolution, it just looks awesome and is so powerful.

Plus, it now has has an advantage over the new Fairy types with Sludge Bomb, AND Steel has lost its resistance to Ghost! Also, Mega Lucario is an absolute beast. Adaptibility in addition to its increased stats? Seriously? Not to mention that Bullet and Mach Punch both become stupidly powerful on Megacario due to this.

I am not the biggest fan of mega evolutions because I think this is slightly ruining the tradition of a Pokemon battle. Pokemon battles are becoming too advance it makes them look a little like Digimon. However there are some really cool designs for mega evolutions so that is why I am posting here. Firstly we have Mewtwo X (I think this is the good looking one), I think the tail coming out of its head is cool and the fact that it looks so calm really makes it look like a real Psychic type pokemon.
