WELCOME TO THE-eh i already did that anyway lets get to the good stuff, all right if you guys remember my awesome month review on Dusclops you will know that i got hated on by most of the community so decided i am going to try to make up for that review by reviewing Dusknoir and good god this thing is creepy...
MOVESET
At the start we get-JESUS...holy mother of god...okay just let me show you
Fire punch
Ice punch
Thunderpunch
Gravity
Bind
Leer
Night shade
Disable
You see,Now Dusknoir can have any of these moves and its all random there is no special Ev training way there is no breeding way its all random so...have fun with that
At level 9 we get foresight...ha ha ha HA HA-
Now at level 14 we get astonish this move has a base attack damage of 30 and has 100% accuracy...everything we have up to this point is better than this..
At 17 we confuse ray no no no no no no no no NO
At level 22 we get shadow sneak this move has a base attack damage of 40 and has 100% accuracy also this move almost always hits first, take it if you want but i dont like it
At level 25 we get pursuit and you guys are not going to believe but its the exact same thing as shadow sneak...i mean it same damage same accuracy same effect so everything i just said about shadow sneak just apply it here
At level 30 we get one of the signature moves of ghost type pokemon curse, this move reduces the users health down to half and every turn after that the targets health is reduced by 1/4,this is a risky yet effective move take it if you want but use it sparingly
At level 33 we get will-o-wisp this move burns the enemy...and thats it...kind of weak..
At level 37 we get shadow punch this move has a base attack damage of 60 and has...random accuracy huh...take it if you want i dont like it
Now at level 42 we get hex, this move has a base attack damage of 50 and that is increased to 100 if the target is effected by a status effect like burned poisoned or frozen, this move can be effective but i really dont like it
At level 49 we get mean look..pfft
Alright at level 58 we get payback this move has a base attack damage of 50 and has 100% accuracy also this moves damage increases to 100 if you have been damaged the turn you use the move, this is a good move take it
At level 61 we get future sight ....decent
STATS
Alright after reviewing dusclops stats i assume this thing stats are going to be just as bad...okay maybe not this is a MAJOR improvement over Dusclops stats, this things first stat is its Hp at 45...blows, Its attack is at 100 now this is what i love we are finally getting some stats that compliment this things moveset...unlike another certain ghost type Pokemon, but who cares this is a good stat be sure to make good use of it,Its defense and special defense are at 135 which is good and this stat will help you in the long run so just remember when your taking damage this stat will always help you,its special attack is at 65 which is a fair trade off this thing does not have many special attacks anyway, now we have the most painful thing about this pokemon, its speed my god its at 45 and this sucks, now you know why this thing has a high def and special defense right?..oh you dont well figure it out,Now this guy only has 2 weaknesses ghost and dark types and my god that is awesome there will be so little things that can actually damage you to an extreme extent so this is one of the best things about this pokemon,oh yeah this guy is immune to normal and fighting type moves YEAH!!!
TMS AND HMS
Uh...no pun
Earthquake
Thunderpunch
Fire punch
Pain split or curse
Now this is meant to be more flexible than actually doing damage so...i dont have much to say except that if you guys have a better set just tell me in a pm or a reply to this thread
GYMS AND RIVALS
Okay this thing is good against gyms now i say good as in just about better then decent, this guy can be effective in gyms but trust me its going to be a bit hard to win without a team to back you up,and i hope you dont think this guy can be the tip of the spear NO NO NO this guy is way to slow for that if anything is a mini wall to protect your team, your rival is just about on the same level as the gyms when your using this thing in fact i recommend you use the same tactics i think that you need to take my advice and give this guy a wide range of moves that will increase your chances of winning by ALOT other than that be sure to have some potions ready incase this guy takes to much damage, trainers are nothing most of the time i dont know why i have to keep telling you guys if anything you need to watch out for the trainers in victory road and still you can just do what i do and go to a guide to see what pokemon they have and move your team around to compliment the battle so...yeah there not much,The elite 4 will be a challenge but...this guy can work out just barely though and i mean JUST barely but i dont recommend taking it there so just do what you want i guess...
Final thoughts: wow....what an improvement i mean it dusclops might have been one of the worst pokemon i have reviewed but this guy is awesome granted he is not the best ghost type ever and you can find better pokemon that are easier to get a hold of but this guy is not so bad he has a hit and miss moveset somewhat balanced and effective stats wonderful tms and hms and its decent against rivals and gyms this is not one of the best ghost types i have seen and it does have its problems and even some major problems so i cannot completely recommend it to everyone nor can i give it a 4/5 but i will get it the agent of awesomeness badge for being better than its previous form
Final rating:3.5/5
Dusknoir has earned that Agent of Awesomeness badge
Fun fact:i think Nero is Vergils son want to know why..? then go to the video games threads and find the thread i made
