Well, as the title says, I have been playing smash bros brawl recently and I am just curious what everyone's favorite item to use is. I know already a  lot of people are going to say the smash ball. But I think that the dragoon armor, even though it is difficult to collect at times, I think it is very good and I mostly get kos by using it and Ko'd when it is being used on me XD.


So, what is your favorite item to use, or what do you think is the most useful item in the game, I think that the Chinese fan is another useful item and it can rack up a lot of damage quickly. 

As always, follow the rules, no spamming or flaming guys.

Nice thread idea!

I'm gonna have to go with Dragoon armor, poison mushroom, or the lightning bolt. Why?

Dragoon armor: Three pieces of armor that's a nice challenge to collect, and then a blast of AMAZING power! That's amazing, no?

Poison Mushroom: I just love seeing people mistake it for a real mushroom, especially myself. It's fun to be mini and hide from others, or make others small and pwn them.

Lightning bolt: Come on, what's better than a chance of death or life? If I'm not mistaken, when you get a lightning bolt, either you or the enemy become smaller. A double edged sword is pretty fun, considering it can be a deciding factor in a match. (I actually won a tournament with it... )

You know, the poison mushroom and being small isn't that bad, depending on the stage or if it is just flat out, you can make it hard for them to find you and attack you. That is the one plus that I see from being small in the game. I like both of the hammers in the game, it is just fun Ko'ing people while listening to catchy music, I mean come on, what could be better, right? So i think you made some good picks as far as useful items!

By the way, does anyone know what Gardevoir and Wobbufet are supposed to do if you summon them out of a pokeball? Do they even have a real purpose?

It depends on my mood. If I want to annoy people, the fan is the way to go. . Pokeballs and assist trophies are a definite for me, but I would say that the laser sword is a nice one for me (or anything that is a staff like and I can swing with). It increases my range of attacks if I need to.

So good choice there, most of the pokemon in the pokeballs are useful too. With the exception of magikarp which does nothing but flop around uselessly. 

Barathemos : Agreed that is why I use them as well, and the fan racks up damage like nothing, that is why it is one of my favorites to use!

Probably the Pokeballs and Assist Trophies, since they can really help out in battle. They can really turn the tide of a battle! I also like using Smash Balls because the Final Smashes are one of the best things ever in this game. The Hammer and the Fan I don't find as good, since it really doesn't take any skill to use, and it is overall cheap.

My favorite item is the hammer. It's not the most powerful item, but I've been able to knock many of my friends off quickly whenever I get it. The best part is that if you're not used to using it, it's easy to knock yourself off. So it's always funny to see someone do that when trying to stop me from using it first.

(I know, so evil right? But so much fun.) I also like throwing the black hammer piece at people when it falls off and just watch them go flying.
