Hey guys! Looks like I'm on a thread making spree! lol. So here is once again, another very simple and yet easy thread. Have you ever been DQ'd (disqualified) from any competition? It can be on vizzed, any website, or any real life competition. Well anyways, for me, no, not really for real life I guess... But for vizzed, yes. I was once DQ'd from the VCS just for a day for going overboard in the game reviews forum long ago. lol. How about you guys? Also, how did you feel when you were DQ'd? (I didn't really feel bad but I was a bit disappointed)

In the Summer TDV, on one of the days I broke the one rule for green, I had more then 50% of my posts for green, so I was DQ'd.

I was DQ'd during my first TdV, but I can't remember what rule I broke. I want to say it was the 20% rule, but I really can't say for sure.  I was pretty upset, because I had stayed up all night and worked hard on posting in a non-spamming way.  Back then, whatever rule I had broken wasn't explicitly stated in the rules.  When someone told me why I was DQ'd, I complained about it and said I shouldn't get DQ'd when the rule wasn't mentioned in any thread.  Nobody changed the DQ and my DQ stuck, causing me to back out of the competition for three days.

However, David or somebody else did finally go put that rule in with the others, and I got over my pride and silliness.  I just had to realize how ridiculous I was being first.  One DQ is not that big of a deal (in the past, anyways).  I definitely like how a DQ has more consequence now.  It's more meaningful and will stop people from taking DQ's lightly.  Hopefully we'll see more quality because of it.

Anyways, I was DQ'd during my first Tour de Vizzed. I was explaining to someone what sandwich posting was while sandwiching at the same time, and got DQ'd for blue and green. Luckily, it was the second to last day, so it didn't matter, plus, I became the person's best friend.

I have never been disqualified from any competition before and I don't think I ever will

I have been once actually in the last TDV in the summer, I think it was from green because I didn't make enough posts in blue to meet the requirements for the 50% rule so I got a dq because I was not familiar with the rule. Other than that I don't get any dqs from competitions on vizzed.  That is a good thing and I do my best to follow the rules and requirements. 

I see a few people get dq'd often for not following the rules, which are pretty simple and I am amazed at how they fail to not follow them and lose points because of it. So I have been dq'd once for not being familiar with the 50% rule. 

I got DQ'd only once in any competition, really. I got DQ'd for the Green Jersey Rule last March(?), and besides that, my record is clean.

Yes..i been DQ'd...before. For spamming. And you would never expect to spam..But i did..on the January TdV......(funny thing is....i still got my jersey)

As of right now, on Vizzed, I haven't been DQ on TdV yet, and hopefully never get DQ because with the new rule, if I get DQ, that's it, game over for the jersey. As for other places, I haven't been in hardly any competition, so I mostly forgot if I have DQed or not.

I was kicked out of a sporting event once, but it was for something silly. Though it was quite embarrasing, I did not know it, but I was wearing my uniform the wrong way. I was only 7, so I did not really know what to do.

No I haven't been disqualified from any competition and I don't plan to anytime soon. I guess following the rules really pay off sometimes.

No, I haven't. I don't even like being part of an event or competition, but when I join one I always try to follow the rules so that it would be fair.

And, If you get DQ'd on a competition. I think other competitors wont respect you and that's not good, not good at all. Plus, if you ever want to join the same event again, there is a chance that the judges or the host wont let you enter or join.
 
Today, I want to enter the TdV I hope I wont get DQ'd. I am aiming for the Green Jersey, I hope I win.

Right now, this is the first competition I am competing in, and I have yet to be disqualified in this one or anyone yet. I am trying my hardest not to get disqualified, but if I do, then I am just going to accept it, move on, and remind myself not to make the same mistake I made for the next competition.
