Yeah, I have quite long nails and they always get in my nails. I remembered when I used to go ahead and lick them to get them off. :p

Now I just wash my hands of course, and Now I do not lick my fingernails and toe nails. (Yes, I really did that when I was younger.

Thankfully I rarely get it. But when I do I hate it, not only does it look bad, it looks disgusting and I absolutely just cannot stand having that bacteria under my nails. Thankfully I keep them short to avoid this from even happening in the first place, but sometimes they get further under and I just cant help it.

I am very sanitary and tight when it comes to hygiene. I don't like having long filthy, black fingrer nails, especially as a guy. So I try to do everything I can to eliminate this from being a problem at all. But yes I've had it happen to me before, it happens to all of us, no matter how hygienic you are.

I get it every single day! I go straight to the bathroom to wash it out, but after a few hours it comes back. It must be something I am doing but I can not just think what. I only get it in my ring finger and it gets pretty bad. When it comes back at school I usually have to scratch it out with a compass or a sharp pencil. Not really, because I am a baker. I tend to make sure my hands are clean at all times, and chip them off to make my nails look clean I wouldn't want that going on now. ^-^

Bacteria? Haha, that would be an awful lot of it.

It's likely due to something you do in your life that causes dirt to accumulate under you nails. Maybe you work on cars, go camping, clean, whatever.

I keep my hands pretty clean.

Usually, when I go outside and play something, I get dirt stuck in. Or if I go to a restaurant and don't have a fork or spoon or something else to eat my chicken with, that gets stuck, too.

It sounds disgusting, and it looks like it, too. But, I just wash my hands and get most of it out, and end up clipping them if I really get irritated with it. My mom really gets mad at me when she sees them in my nails, lol...

I went to pizza hut the other day and some guy that was handing us our food .. it looked like he had Greece or something from a truck under his.. it was so nasty.. honestly you need to keep your hands clean especially if you are working at a fast food restaurant or any place period.
