Good question! It normally takes me around 15-20 minutes. Sometimes depends on how hungry I am or how long it takes to make the food I guess. lol.

DittoDude44 : Personally it depends on what I am eating. Sometimes I like to take my time with my food, as I do a lot of cooking, time goes into that and I don't want to just rush it down. As long as it keeps warm, I am happy taking my time.

I kind of had a hard time answering this one. I mean, on one hand, I'm a super, DUPER fast eater.  I can scarf something down ridiculously fast, and it was something that always upset my mother.  She felt like she always had to remind me to chew my food and a few times when I was younger, she'd actually MAKE me count the number of chews.  (Thank goodness she only did that two or three times! lol)


However, although I eat pretty fast, I'm also usually doing other things while eating. I'll grade stuff, work on lesson plans, watch a show with my husband, or ... well.. anything else, really. I tend to multi-task way too much, and so I might snack on something through other events.  I don't know if it's ever taken me THIRTY minutes to eat something thanks to my busy nature, but I'm sure I've taken 15-20 minutes on several occasions.

I recently went out to dinner and it took about an hour, I don't think it was all on eating, but we did talk a bit about stuff. Normally depending on what I am eating and how much of it I am eating, I can probably finish it in about 45 minutes. In some restaurants there is a wait and that is what takes up all the time. So I could probably eat in 40 minutes or under, when I actually get the food I ordered.

It usually takes me around eleven to thirty minutes to eat dinner. It really depends on the meal and how fast I eat though. If I have a small meal or I wasn't doing anything else, then it would take 10 minutes or less. But if I am eating a large meal or I am multitasking, then it would take me at least 20 minutes .

In all honesty, I do eat fast (not on purpose, just my regular pace). I got a growing metabolism. I get hungry a lot during school, and I could just eat a whole ton of food before getting full. 
So, usually eating dinner, I would say probably 10 minutes.

If I'm concentrating on eating, then it usually takes me about 11-20 minutes. If I'm talking or the food isn't to my liking, it takes about 30 minutes to an hour sometimes to eat. I'm a picky eater so not many ethnic foods are very appetizing to me.
