Okay, title says it all, pretty much. How long does it take you to eat dinner. For me, it depends on what I eat and how much I eat of it. I cook a lot, I usually cook for the family, and I think I do good, but I can be a slow eater at times. 


But usually, about 20 minutes.


So, the question is...

Well, it really depends on what I'm eating, when, and what's going on. For example, if I eat a hotdog in a rush to get my laptop, under 10 minutes. But if I'm eating a moderate to heavy dinner without a rush, around 30+ minutes.

Good question, it takes me normally about 25-35 minutes to eat diner, it depends on what we are having and how hungry I am. But if we go out to eat it takes longer, about an hour to an hour and a half. But most of the time I finish dinner in 40 minutes or less, it all depends on what dinner is, if it is something simple then I finish it quicker, but if it is a larger dinner then it will take me a little bit longer to eat. But it takes me about 40 minutes or less the majority of the time.

Why would anybody take longer than 10-15 mins?
Maybe it takes you hours to dine when you are on a wedding.But i don't go to weddings so I have no problems there.I don't need more time than 15 minutes because i eat until there is nothing left on plate.On Discovery channel i seen a test where people ate soup and their bowl was refilled slowly with a pipe that was hid under the table, they ate until the test was done and ate like 4 bowls of soup without knowing.

Uhm. I don't eat much. So it only takes me 3 to 6 spoons to finish my plate. Estimated time is, around 9 minutes or below. I don't want to get fat, that's because I don't eat much in dinner. Because I heard that you don't burn calories when asleep, so I don't eat much food. :3
