So I have made this thread where you can put in what your gaming goals are!!


For me, my gaming goal right now is to finish the Dark Side in Sonic  Adventures 2 on the Xbox 360 console!!


And my other goal is to play the Grand Theft Auto 5 when it comes out one week from today and enjoy the supposing greatest GTA experience ever!!

Quite a few. About three or four.

First one is get and beat GTA 5. It seems interesting from the trailers and stuff. Probably worth it.
Second, get first in a real life gaming tournament. I always end up getting second or third!
Third, get Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney: Dual Destinies and beat it in three days. I love the series, so I cannot wait at all.

Goals (Not in any order but by the next 2-3 years I want these accomplished):
1) Beat FF1 without grinding 20 levels at the beginning with the space bar. I know it is cheap doing that since it is literally so easy and only takes an hour but it really ruins the overall challenge of the game. But I think I will just have the goal to beat it first doing that and my next run I will not train as much in between bosses and chapters.
2) Beat Pokémon Red or Blue. (Originals) Though I absolutely love playing all the Pokémon hacks and even originals on here I have yet to beat the originals. I really can't stand the bad graphics so I may just try to beat Fire Red or Leaf Green instead as my goal.
3) I want to be able to beat Tony Hawk Underground (Which I am currently playing for about an hour or 2 a day on my PS2). I never really got into it because I am not a skater and I did not understand how to do tricks but after I dusted off the PS2 and gave it a shot it is really fun and I have been playing for a few hours a day for about a week now and really enjoying my time playing it.
4) I want to beat Zelda Ocarina of Time for the N64. I know having to love the game but never finishing it is a huge shame on me as a gamer but to be honest I never had the patience to play through it. But now that I am older and can easily speed through kid link's arc in a couple of hours without breaking a sweat may increase my chances of beating it.
5) Beat all the gym leaders in Pokémon Stadium 2. I had that and the original but I never finished #2 so I am thinking its about time that I give it another shot especially since I figured out how to find stats and such very easily. (I use Pokemondb)
6) Last but not least I would like to be able to buy and beat the original Kingdom Hearts game again as well as I would like to beat all the bonus bosses who I was never able to beat.

I know 6 goals is a lot and that is why I am giving myself 3 years to complete them all. (Which some I could easily accomplish in a weekend without even thinking about it)

I'm surprised almost all the achievements in this thread are in game achievements I'm actually trying to get w huge achievement overall this time around.
I'm trying to beat fifty games I only played 78 games but I either dislike the games I didn't beat or they are those impossible games to beat.
So far I had beaten 43 games in total.

For me......to beat all of the dark aeons including dark yojimbo and penance! In FFX if I beat dark yojimbo I can unlock penance the ultimate mega boss stronger than sin and beat him! I have been trying to do this for a couple of years now. Not only that collect all the ultimate weapons too!

Awesome-Kid : I think the hardest one was Ninja Gaiden III so far, just because I felt it was terrible. No where near as good as I or II.

Of course, this is restricting myself to original NES equip if I actually own the game or no save states if I am emulating (cept if I have to quit for any reason, but not to save before a hard part.)
