I'm a new member, and I am starting to like this community, but I was wondering why chat rooms cost Viz. Is there a reasoning behind that? I logged in like what I do in another online chat room and kept it in a tab, and then I find out I lost 132 Viz when I logged in today. I often go to online chat rooms in forums to get to know other people quick without the slower and more tedious pace of private messaging, etc., but it looks like I won't be spending much time in chat any more. I'm not challenging the rules, I just am surprised that this is the case here.

Yeah, chat costs 3 Viz per minute. O.O It cost the owner money, so he attempts to gain some of that back by charging Viz. If you want to hang out in chat, I'll be happy to 'sponsor' you (i.e. refund you for your time there).

tgags is right, The chat box is great for this. I would go on to Pokemon Emerald although you do start to get annoyed when people are just boasting because the got a Lv. 100 Magikarp! I would try to keep it on topic, but it is ok to drift off if you get into a decent conversation.
