Laurenucf : By slow do you mean regular pace? If so, then maybe your key configurations got messed up - try changing your key configurations again. If you mean "slower than the normal game speed", then it's just lag lol.

It may be because lag. My computer is really bad so on GBA games it does not speed up much. But if I play game boy color or just Gameboy games it is fine.

Hang on. Check your controls settings (double click the screen).
See if that helps. I don't know if you changed it, or I don't know. But that is very weird. Normally it speeds up for me, so I don't know why it wouldn't for you.
