It definitely was disappointing with how little participation there was. I wonder if it had something to do with the scores that were already put on there. I wonder if a lot thought that either those would count or they assumed we would beat our old records. Frankly, I wouldn't imagine we would spend so much time. Those top scores took hours to do

rcarter2 : Eventually I'll make it so that all high score and speed run submissions require a video otherwise they wont be added to the page and I'd probably also remove any submissions that don't have a video that seem a little suspicious or are submitted by users who have no other submissions.

Just wondering, how would that be done? There are thousands of scores submitted right now with now video, and probably 1 for every 100 or so are probably done in a less than honest manner. Are there particular ones you have in mind of taking off that has been here for a long time, or is this going to be more of a 'when you implement video instead of screenshot submissions' kind of thing?

I think many were likely scared off by those highscores already posted. Perhaps it should be mentioned in the thread, if such scores exist, to not be discouraged by them. Getting video to support your highscore can be quite a different ordeal considering people may have trained for those a long time ago and may not be able to do the same now.

I got robbed. I had first place with a score of 213,390 but there was an error with taking the screenshot for some magical reason. I uploaded the 2 part video to the vizzed youtube channel no problem but only part 2 loaded to the site properly, of course. I took a screenshot of my desktop showing the game on Time Trial mode and the time before the deadline. The videos on the vizzed youtube channels show the were uploaded before the deadline as well, for corroboration.

rcarter2 : I'm not really sure how I'll be going about that, I might even one day remove all submissions without a video proof but it wouldn't be any time soon, it'd be long enough where users would have enough time to do a new run.

Oh, so it would be pretty much starting the whole thing on a clean slate? I wouldn't be fond of that mainly because of my lengthy table Would take forever to do it all over again. But whatever happens happens.
