This is pretty basic stuff like all of my polls on the board. What do you think would happen if Charles Martinet died? For my answer, I would say the voice actors would be unprofessional. I mean, Charlie voices the baby Mario brothers, the bros, and the Wario bros. Nintendo is screwed if he dies. Miyamoto would just hire terrible voice actors, and Mario games wouldn't be really special. However if it was old age that kills Charles Martinet, then by then, the world would just be Grand Theft Auto, Grand Theft Auto, Grand Theft Auto and Call of Duty, Call of Duty, Call of Duty. Nintendo would probably be out of business and getting a Retro console would be 5x harder. What do you guys think?

I think the same thing you said about hiring not-as-good voice actors to replace him and also I think Nintendo would probably start re-using some voices from previous Mario games and slightly edit them.

I'm guessing Nintendo will be die out, because they don't have the voice actor for probably their most popular franchise. OR, Nintendo gets new voice actors, but all the fanboys hate them, and it's the fanboys that buy the games, meaning the outcome is still the same. If Nintendo is somehow able to get good voice actors, then Nintendo will continue operating the same.

If he died.. I would think what most people would think which would be the voices would die out probably .. Nintendo might even be worse off.. I am sure he has a plan set in motion though for when he does die.

it lasted from 1989 to 2006, release-wise that is

and theres even a fan made mother 4 to be released this winter
but thats still only bout a 20 year life span
granted that marios first appearance was in donkey kong in 1981 but voice actors werent really used then
so far mario has lasted a good 30 years
no one can be too sure how long it'll last

Charles is probably the only person in the entire world that can do the Mario voice without sounding like an idiot. because he is the Mario voice.

If he died, that would be sad. I suppose the world would probably collapse upon itself, seeing as Charles is what the Earth revolves around... Or maybe Nintendo would have tryouts or something.

Well, they probably have other voice actors but since Charles Martinet added so much fun in the games it would be a sad day. I think that Nintendo would make a special day to tribute his life or a special event in one of their games.
