So, basically, do you think life would be the same without music? I think not, it would be much more depressing and I think music is a big part of us, it sort of symbolizes our character and who we are, and without it, I think life would be dreary, dull and just not the same. So I want to hear your opinion on the subject matter, do you think not having music would affect you? How so? How different do you think life would be without music? I think that it would affect a lot of people because music is just a big part of our lives and it would be different without it, so share your opinion on the matter,but keep it cool.

On a very personal level, I would go insane.

I have problems with background noise. I can't stand listening to people talk or other sounds associated with a lot of people crowded in one area-- It just can't do it. I put myself into my own little world by plugging myself into music and listening to music when I'm walking around campus or when I'm sitting in a very busy place.

Without music, I doubt I would be able to handle being around other people, or walking to class or to work (my second job's commute is 15 minutes cross campus by foot).

When I'm not using music to drown out music, music is my inspiration. I write to music-- my ideas come from not just my own head, but the moods and the stories within the songs helps me move in the right direction. Every [creative] story I write, there's some kind of genre or artist I pair the work with.

Without music, I doubt myself and a lot of other authors would have the ability to write without music to help in the magical ways it does.

life without music? i cant even think how life will be ...some songs bring life to this world :3   music is the best

angel11222 : I agree completely, it really helps me tune out noise and all the immature idiots I would normally have to put up with on the bus. So one thing is for sure, without music to block them I would have a lot more headaches from school more frequently.

cnsulli : Yeah I like to think of music as my protective barrier from loud, noisy annoying people I don't feel like putting up with. So without it I would be depressed and miserable. Glad you have an appreciation for music! Its awesome!

Life would be terrible if it wasn't the same without music. There would be no concerts, no albums, no records, no iPods, no mp3s, no audio cassette tapes, no radios and no radio stations. It would be depressing for music lovers, and by music lovers, I mean every single entire music lover that loves any genre (Rock, Jazz, Techno, Classical, etc.) Music is important and one of everyone's favorite things, and it's pure genius.

My life wouldn't be the same without music because I would be freaking out every single day without music. I wouldn't know what a radio, record, album or iPod without music.
