I never got nightmares from a movie; hardly even jump at scary scenes either. My sister, however, saw Child's Play when we were all very young and she had used to have nightmares from it.

Tremors always scared me as a kid. I remember one of the nightmares, I got swallowed up by one of them behind my house. Then I woke up.

I've never gotten a nightmare from any movie because I haven't seen any movies that are really creepy or scary overall.

Koda : I think we can all agree on Never Say Never being a frightening film.

You know, I've never really gotten any nightmares from any movies. Guys, let's be honest;horror movies aren't scary, they're just graphic. I've never heard a scary story or seen a scary movie.

slimzimkin : Chucky was based off of a musical doll that I had when I was a toddler. His name was Bucky and you could play simple songs by squeezing his arms, legs and belly. Just a bit of useless trivia for you. (I still have Bucky too)

I don't remember having nightmares from horror movies but I was scared to death to be home alone or to sleep in pitch black because of Poltergeist.

I almost never got (or get) nightmares. The few that I did get weren't from movies, though.

To be honest I never really got many nightmares from scary horror movies. I have however, went without sleeping well for a time period since I am one of those horror movie addicts and so is my mother so we always go and see crazy movies. Though I will admit I do accept the dark but got damn it if it is late at night and I need some water I will turn on every light I possibly can and I will run to my room right when the lights turn off. And I am 20 years old. Plus I have had paranormal stuff happen to me on many occasions very frequently so you could only imagine why I do not have nightmares. Lol

This might sound silly, but Paranormal Activity really bothered me. I saw it in theaters and I couldn't sleep that night. I was looking over my shoulder and afraid of the dark for days. I watch a lot of horror movies and that doesn't usually happen to me.

I used to study ghosts and paranormal investigations, demons, possession, poltergeists, etc. in depth. - So, I am the type of person who is aware of why demons are supposed to be scary. And they really nailed the demonic entity in Paranormal Activity. The team behind that movie obviously researched the same things. The fact that it was so much like the few recorded "real" cases of demonic hauntings, made it more believable, and thus terrifying to me.

Only the night after watching it, Independence Day gave me a minor nightmare of the vague alien faces from the movie. Ha ha . They were a tad scary, though. I have much, much worse nightmares, though, fueled by something else.

I never really had but a couple of nightmares when I was about 12 from this really scary movie I watched one time with my dad. I don't remember the name of it but I had several nightmares of it. Movies don't scare me at all anymore I am basically immune to them.

I rarely have nightmares about dreams. My last movie related nightmare was when I was 8 and had a scary dream about one of the CIS androids from Star Wars chasing me. I really don't dream about movies, ever.

When I had been younger, I was practically terrified of everything. The film of The Haunting of Connecticut had terrified myself at the younger age I had watched it. Nowadays, I strongly dislike films complete with horror, not because they horrify myself, but because they are complete with nonsense and ridiculousness. Ugh! Haha!

I actually just posted about this. When I was little, I had nightmares for over a month after I saw Friday the 13th (I was WAY too young to see that movie). It seems many other people had similar experiences with scary movies and nightmares at young ages.

One of the scariest movies I have seen is worng turn. This film is divided into for parts. Wornng turn one, Wrong Turn two, Wrong Turn three, and worng turn for. It's really scary movie but also very accomplished. As scary movie I have seen is Saw one , saw two,saw three, saw for,saw five and saw six.  I am very passionate about horror films
