So my aunt pulls out a movie and says we gonna watch it with grandma over dinner. I'm like, ok... What's is called? She pulled out a VHS called " Inner Space . "

" No... Now put it in, and rewind it. It hasn't been rewound in nearly 10 years ."

oh man....thats prehistoric stuff.  I remember watchin Godzilla (1999) on VHS when i was around 4 years old, but then my TV fried its self and pretty much melted the VHS.

I still have a ton of VHS movies out in my shed, a couple boxes worth.  I tried to sell them in a yard sale, but they didn't sell.  So I'll just hang on to them until I get the urge to find a VCR.  The only VCR I have right now is built in to my daughters small tv in her room, so I'll need something else if I want to get serious about it.

I have 2 sets of the original star wars trilogy, one of them unopened.  And all of the indiana jones movies.  Outside of that I honestly don't remember, a bunch of 80/90s nerdy action movies I guess.

But, I digress.  To answer your question, it's been probably 2 or 3 years since I watched a VHS movie.

The last time I watched a VHS was about a week ago because my mom missed her show (haven't upgraded to DVR yet). The last time I watched a VHS movie was years ago, we got rid of most of our tapes and bought them on DVD.

I still watch vhs every now and then. Back when DVDs were first coming out I got a vhs/DVD combo player and I still got it.  I like vhs better for my kids because they are so young they just scratch the heck out of DVDs.

Probably a few years since I no longer have a vhs player for movies. There are still a lot of good movies I have for vhs that I cannot watch because I don't have a vhs player anymore. We really need to upgrade a lot of the downstairs movies to dvds, like the disney ones, there are a whole lot of those as well, so I'd say it has been about 2-3 years since I have seen a movie from a vhs player. But I still have a lot of good vhs movies I'd like to see.

I watched Star Trek: Insurection this afternoon. I own more VHS than DVDs because they are extremely cheap. I record TV and video game play on VHS frequently. Considering all of my TV's are CRT's, the quality doesn't matter. I'm also considering picking up a Sony U-Matic recorder in the future.

Last time I watched a VHS tape was a couple months ago, I decided to bust out my Land Before Time Videos I had collected Obsessively throughout my childhood years. It was one of the best nostalgia trips I've even taken.
