Alright, so this is what you got.
You have all of the sports, which is way to many to name here. So you have to choose 1 sport for the world to keep. Now, the thing is, this is the ONLY sport that there will be for the rest of everything. So, choose wisely.

If bowling and bike riding count, I would pick bowling. I can live without my bike. Now, if you are talking about outside sports, such as basketball and football, I would pick basketball because I am pretty good at it and can only get better at it. I would be okay if all the sports in the world were deleted other than basketball and bowling. Now, for football, I never liked it, and I am almost positive I will never get into it one single bit or ever will get into it (or any time soon, at least) Bike Riding, it is fun, but if you are not used to excersise, then your thighs and stomach will start to hurt, and will hurt for about 15 minutes or depending on how much you over-excert yourself, the time of pain can shange.

The world should keep football because there's so much strategy involved.  It's exciting to watch and the team depends on every player.  I love baseball too, but the game depends so much on the pitcher to pitch well.

A question like this I am sure that everybody that responds would most likely name their favorite sport for their answer which is exactly what I plan to do.

This is a really difficult question to ask.  If I was being selfish, I'd probably choose cycling or swimming.  The question is definitely a little unclear though.  If the world only kept one sport, do you mean for EVERY living person to ever be involved in?  Or do you mean the sport would be the only one to be played professionally?

Like I mentioned, my selfish choice would be cycling or swimming, if every living person could only be involved in the one sport.  If I wasn't caring about myself, I'd probably say football.... but I'd probably say that because I'm an American and it seems to drive a lot of economy here in the southern states.
