I make this thread because a crazy thing happened to me yesterday. Help me out if I am in the wrong place for this, thanks.

I love rare drops in RPG's. Getting a pink tail, Sword of Kings, 9-tail whip, etc. makes my month when it comes to gaming.

Breath of Fire 2 is one of those games with a ridiculous drop rate. The most rare cases being a 1/256 chance! Those odds... well.. They stink. It's not very likely to ever happen. On top of that, a few specific enemies have low encounter rates. Lowing your chances (and your sanity) even further. (Sten's Switch ability can help the encounter problem out)

So when I finally got the 9-tail whip from a Zodiac yesterday(a 1/256 shot), after literally about 2 years of fighting in the same tiny room, I was 12 years old all over again. Pumping my fist, hooting and hollering... man I'm a nerd...

The save point is 1 minute away, I go save and walk to a different room that holds another rare encounter/super low drop rate. 1st battle I fight, rare dude, Demon Drops something.....wha?! .... Life Br. Another 1/256 chance. Boom, one try. I have zero reaction for about a minute. I mean the last one took me 2 years to get, this took me 2 minutes. So I snap back into it and think, time to go save again, just one minute away.... next battle I fight FREEZES THE SCREEN!!! This game has NEVER, EVER froze on me. I thought I was dreaming... honestly. Now I feel I'm in for the long haul to get this accessory. Oh Well, Breath of Fire 2 rocks anyways... off to fight.

Feel free to share your freezing/glitching/rare-drop stories. Good or Bad.

I was doing a large project in Minecraft and I had built a large section of the town when I got that strange 'you should save now' feeling and 5 minutes later my game crashed after about 2 hours of work.

One time I was playing Super Mario 64 on this site and when King Bob-omb's text box appeared the entire computer froze. I figured out the solution to the problem a couple months ago and it is ridiculously simple.

Pokegeek : That doesn't beat my 5 hours of work deleted to build a 1:1 of the Desert Sphinx. At least I still have my Julius Caesar 1:1 scale

PacmanandMariofan : Probably because Lakitu thought he was so ugly he passed out, and his head hit the "stop record" button.

Anyways, I was making a redstone pyramid in Minecraft, and when I tried to activate the entrance, the whole thing just disconnected. (By that I mean the blocks were no longer connected)

PixelBrick : lol that's the funniest Super Mario 64 joke I've ever heard! It was really because of the graphic errors that Mupen64 has and I just used a different video plugin to stop the graphic errors.

When I was younger I had a gameboy advance sp and a copy of Pokemon Fire Red I spent hours of training but all that went to waste when after getting my team to a decent level to destroy the elite 4 I dropped my gameboy and yeah it crashed the cartridge.

Also today a similar thing happened on it wasn't the game freezing. I was playing Halo 4 managed to complete a few missions. My Dad was doing something with the shelf above the Xbox 360 and then his elbow brushed against the very sensitive touch sensitive button and out came the disk.

Ah yes, so much time wasted in these stories. It feels like a punch in the gut when it happens. It's usually so disheartening that I have to play a different game for a while(a few weeks or so?)before I go back to it. This is especially so when it comes to RPG's.

One time I played Final Fantasy on my NES, the cartridge was dirty, and I ended up getting a heavily glitched version of the sliding-picture game instead of the title screen. I hadn't even gotten that far in the game by that point, so I had no idea what it was.

Another time I played SMB on it, and it crashed the first time I jumped, and it made a hilarious "falling" sound, like in a cartoon.

And one of my favorite glitches is making Sonic "moonwalk".

Oh boy, where do I begin! I believe my greatest flippout was when I was about to beat Bowser in the star cup in Mario Tennis, and the game glitched out, and I had to restart all over again! I think I cried for like 20 mins, it was that devastating to me. All to unlock donkey kong jr. and shyguy. What a lame character he was.

I was playing Oblivion and made it really far in the game and I just got the Umbra.
Then out of nowhere the game just suddenly freezed and haven't saved once up till that point the thing is I hadn't sleeped in three days because I had spended all that time on Oblivion I kinda freaked out and almost gave up on the game.
Then I just decided what's done is done I can't change it so I just restarted all over again.

Before I had a Vizzed account, I was playing on Pokémon Emerald. I didn't save since the second gym, and got to Ever Grande City. Well, due to my luck, I didn't see it was on critical battery level. And as I made it out of Victory Road...

It went black.

Just black.

I nearly killed my GBA after that.

I actually encountered a glitch on Sonic Adventure 2 not too long ago.  I went through those portals that appear after you play that song power-up..thing...and I got back out of it, and the camera glitched out of the wall.  It seems to do that every time I do the same thing.

This sort of thing happens to me a lot. I was playing Kingdom Hearts: 358/2 Days, and when I got to the end of the game, it froze and I hadn't saved for hours. I quit the game for about a month after that.

As for glitches, I was playing the game The Lord of the Rings: The War in the North, with my friend, and at the end of the game, there was a gate you needed to go through that would only open after you beat all of the enemies. So we beat the enemies and the gate opened for me, but on his game, it stayed closed. He couldn't come through it, and there was nothing he could do to fix it. It turned out that some of the games had that happen, and the only way to fix it was to get a new game.

My story? Well, I have had several of those. They were very minor, though. In Pokemon Heart Gold, I found a Ponyta in Mt. Silver (the grassy area), and it just got stuck before it could continue the word, 'poison'. It was just "Chiko is hurt by pois", and the music started replaying from one second ago, at was sort of creepy O_o ... Second time was when I was training a Yanma also in Heart Gold, and it just got stuck . No music or anything. Next is in Pokemon White, I just opened the DSi after supper and there was no music, and my character didn't move no matter what I did . Finally, also in Pokemon White, I ran away from a wild Tympole. Then, as usual, it said "Got away safely", and then the screen turned black. And it stayed black XD! Anyway, those were all of my video game glitches. At least all I can think of. They're all very minor, though. I hope another doesn't happen, though... They are sort of freaky 0_0... Lol. I'll keep my fingers crossed ^^!
