Been trying to get under 4:50 on super mario bros (yes I have gotten under 4:57 which requires you to hit the jackpot.) Mainly because I'm a god like speedrunner on super mario bros. I also speed run super mario bros 3, I have gotten 4:47 on it with next to no chance of getting around 4 minutes.

PacmanandMariofan : He obviously used all the warps. Anybody could beat Super Mario Bros in four minutes if you warp. I've tried to speed run Mega Man X and Super Mario Bros. Both hard to speed run. But Mario 64 is a breeze to speed run.

I speed run many games.. super Mario.. donkey kong, Zelda games.. Pokémon games, and several others. I find it fun to speed run in general and if I know how to play a game it is pretty easily for me to speed run about anything.

I once speed run Final Fantasy IX, but when I was in the end of disc 4.. I started to think, why did I speed run this game? I missed so much from the game when I played it like that...

But I guess if I ever try to speed run anything again it would be something like Sonic the Hedgehog, Mega Man etc.. Those games where the story does not really matter.
