When I was 9 I got a heap of clothes, a game for my DS (or was it GameCube? I forget.) and about £20. Compared to me, your pretty spoilt.

I find it amazing how so many people can easily afford these things - saying that, I'm not an only child, and my mom has about 8 people and 6 animals to care for, so I won't complain.

Plus, I like getting clothes. It might be boring and all to try them on, but it saves me having to dive into my clothes drawer and spend 20 minutes finding something suited for the weather and something that fits me.

Anyway, who DOESN'T get clothes for their birthday? If someone doesn't, I'd like to hear about it.
I make pretty long wish lists anyway, but I only ever get 1 or 2 of the things I want, because what I want is really expensive, like a 3DS or a Wii U. You could probably afford that with no problem though - I wish I was you sometimes, since my family is pretty quickly going into debt.
