Some of you have witnessed this before, an error page that says 'Error 71017' and kills the page. This is part of my site security, it kills the page if it detects a potential hack threat. I've modified the script so that it's a little smarter with handling potential hack threats. In other words, you'll probably encounter that error a lot less now.

whoa... lol, thats some scary site security you got there david. I never got that page before though. but I would really be frustrated if I was in a middle of a game review and then it randomly comes up. lol

I have only gotten a error like that once( I have not nor will I ever hack Vizzed), I think it only came up because I use different kinds of rather untrustworthy software dealing with IP address masking and security and other stuff. But I'm glad this error won't come up as much for others and myself.

I have never gotten a error like that. But its great that this wont happen as often than before. Also i agree with mohammedroxx3, the site security is scary in some ways.

No but I have seen two other errors
one:
Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
Please contact the server administrator, webmaster@vizzed.com and inform them of the time the error occurred, and anything you might have done that may have caused the error.
More information about this error may be available in the server error log.
Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

and two:
Server Strain, site will be back up in a few minutes,
so be sure to refresh this page in a few minutes

I have never seen a 71017 error page. I have seen 404... 403... 504's I think. But never a 71017. I know you said it had something to do with your security about hack threats, but could you go more in depth, or provide a screen shot of what it would look like? I have never seen one before, and I am genuinely curious. 

thing1 : It just says "ERROR 71017" where it normally says that you've posted.

I get really backed up on Emails, PMs and Notifications when I take more than 2 days off from the site. Normally I take just the weekend off but I took off most of Friday and I also took off Monday for my birthday
