Okay as the tile says, I am basically asking, what Pokémon move do you think is the most powerful and why?

Personally I think outrage is pretty powerful aside from it being a dragon type move which are really powerful, it lasts about 2- 3 or  turns and it can do up to 120 damage and it has 100% accuracy which is really good, so with those combined effects I think that it is a really strong move. That is my opinion. So, there are a lot of powerful Pokémon moves out there. What Pokémon move do you think is very strong and why? 

If I'm not mistaken, the most powerful attack is Explosion because of its high attack statistic. I mean, you obviously lose your Pokemon, but say you equip a focus band, you can use explosion with a Golem that just survived a water attack with 1 HP.

Razor-987 : It would be Self Destruct. If you're around Level 1-27, you're pretty vulnerable to it. After that, you're pretty overpowered when it comes to dealing with Electrodes. .

In my opinion the most powerful Pokemon move is either Perish Song, Sheer cold or Fissure because perish song kills a Pokemon with out fail in 3 turns unless you switch out the Pokemon and Sheer cold and fissure are both 1 hit K.O.'s.  

pray75 : I agree with you on that, self destruct and explosion are both very powerful, even if you lose your Pokémon, they are both very impressive moves and they do a lot of damage to the enemy Pokémon as well. So I am with you on that. They are both very powerful.



Guillotine is also very powerful in my opinion but the accuracy and PP are so low that I think it is hard to get a good hit on a Pokémon. I taught my pinsir that move and it is great when it actually hits and makes the Pokémon faint in one move. Good moves here guys! I can't wait to see what everyone else thinks!

Besides Dark-type, there are very few Pokémon that can stand up to an Alakazam's Psychic. I also think Shadow ball is pretty strong. But really it depends on the Pokémon using the move and their stats.

Glaceonwhisper : You mean me? Thanks! I am glad you like the move eruption, I agree it is a very powerful move and can do 150 damage. I taught my typhlosion this move at level 70 or something. It is a really good move choice because it is so powerful. Great choice and I am glad you like this move!

This may be a tough question but hyper beam has to be a overrated move that deals damage that enough to be a critical hit. And maybe even hydro cannon can be counted as a powerful move.

The most powerful attacks are the one hit KO moves: Fissure, Sheer Cold, Horn Drill, and Guillotine (and Perish Song after 3 turns). The most powerful non-one hit KO move (by power) is Explosion. The most powerful move (by power) that doesn't involve killing yourself is V-create. The attack that can deal the most damage is Rollout ("A level 100 Shuckle can potentially deal the most damage in one single

attack through the use of numerous stat boosters; by using Helping Hand
by two different Pokemon in a Triple battle, holding a Metronome, Power
Trick, a Skill Swap to Pure Power or Huge Power, 6 Attack boosts, and a
Mimiced Me First used on a slower Pokemon using the Defense Curl/Rollout
combo. Also, Shuckle's partner must have the ability Flower Gift and
the weather must be sunny. On the 5th turn of using Rollout

tgags123 : wow that is really cool. So screech is a negative defense modifier that can do that much damage? Impressive. I think you have some really good moves, rollout is really strong and perish song is a great move as well. Even though I hate it when it is used on me.

Guillotine is also pretty powerful with pinsir, but the accuracy and
PP are so low that it is hard to land a successful hit on the opponent. Great suggestions though! I agree with a lot of your reasoning, those moves are really powerful and they can do a lot of damage!

I think the most powerful Pokémon move is transform 

I think Hyper beam because it just looks very powerful and can only be done by fully evolved pokemon. Wadya think ?

The most powerful move is transform because it can morph into the Pokémon you are using and has it's attacks  

Judgement it is the most powerful move because it is the signature move of Arceus the most powerful Pokemon  

I'd have to say any of the 1 hit KO moves. (Sheer Cold, Guillotine, etc.) The reason Perish Song is not there though is because unless you are just battling the NPC's in the game it's worth pretty much. If you are fighting in some tournament I'm sure the person would have the common sense to switch out. Maybe if the move would on the current pokemon that is in battle I would of put it on the best move list. The problem with Explosion or Self Destruct is that once you get later in the game it starts to get a little bit less effective, but if you can get it early game it is very good.

The most powerful move that I've had to deal with while playing any of the games would have to be Dialga's Roar of Time, because it would always knock me out with one hit so I'd just be sitting there hoping he'd never use it. >.> I don't think it's exactly the most powerful move but it's sure up there. And boy was it a pain in the butt to defeat Dialga, honestly.
