Well I say it depends if you travel alot I suggest you get the Gameboy Advance which is pretty much the home for alot of Pokemon games.
If you don't travel alot I suggest you get the N64 there are many great classics on that wonderful system.
Keep in mind what you get is really up to you though.

Personally, I would get the N64 because like austi and everyone else said, there are a lot of great, fun and classic games on it that make it a really great system. I have had so many awesome memories playing on my N64. It is all up to you though, I am just making a suggestion. All up to you.

Happy Birthday! If you want them used, you should be able to get both systems pretty cheap. However, a new Nintendo 64 is $400+. Anyway, if you only want one I would say the Gameboy. You can take the Gameboy with you and it will be easier to find Gameboy games than Nintendo 64 games. The Gameboy is also great if you're into Pokemon. I think you should get a Nintendo 64. It may be older than the Game Boy Advance but it has much better graphics (they're more detailed and 3-D style) and the games on the Nintendo 64 are a lot better too.
