I had a few problems with my internet for the past month or so when it just goes out for no real reason, or if weather patterns change sometimes. I was wondering this: does YOUR internet die for a bizarre reason? Heat in the area? Your internet provider doing unannounced maintenance? Other?

I don't know why it kept going out, but when I was in Hawai'i, me and my room mates internet went out all of the time, and it was very frustrating.

Yeah my internet or internet connection goes off sometimes because of the little modem that goes in the back of my computer and I have to take it in and out like all of the time to fix my internet connection, It really sucks and sometimes I will make posts on Viz and I wouldn't be able to tell if the connection is working or not,and when I submit, it doesn't go through because of the lame internet connection. That is why I wish I had a laptop instead of a desktop so I wouldn't have to worry about this problem. As for storms or weather, I keep it off most of the time when I know that there is a storm coming, I will try to get in all of the posts I can before it comes, but yes I do have a lot of internet/ internet connection problems.

Oh yes! Yes it does. Most of the time it's because our internet is provided by a satellite dish, so if something decides to randomly block the dish out internet goes out. If it gets too cloudy or starts to rain chances are good that I'll lose the internet, but sometimes it'll just mysteriously shut off. It did that yesterday actually, the whole system went down for about ten minutes before it just came back up and started working again as though nothing had happened. I have no clue why it decides to do stuff like that either. Ah well.
