So yeah I want to make a Pokemon hack, I been wanted to make one but can't find the tools and making one all by myself... no.

This thread is about the Pokemon ROM hacking competition, so yes you can earn money/Viz (But it will be split evenly)

Oh, I'll join! I can be a story writer, sprite creator, or a beta tester! Or all three! Story writer- Because I have a great imagination, and have a story going on in my mind. Sprite creator- I can color it in, that's about all. I always pick great colors, though. Beta tester- I love Pokemon, most games I have on here are Pokemon. My eyes are keen, and will see most mistakes.

SadSecrets : Alright before I hire you what time are you available to work on this project? (You PM me that)

Matthew2321 : Yeah, this is in the wrong place. Also, avoid using the "Pokemon" subforum at all. We are trying to get rid of it.

I could help. Probably with concepts and what not of the like. 

Skills are me having a lot of time on my hands, and being creative once given an idea. 
Whenever I am online and not competing in the Tour de Vizzed. 

That's strange.. it said you summoned me to this thread in my notifications. I'm also good at story writing and script editing. SadSecrets and I could team up on that. Not very good at editing the map though... And adding events of what's happening on it. so you'll need a good person with that skill. I suggest using Advanced Map and Advanced Text, the starters could be the 3 lizard Pokemon. (Charmander, totodile, and treeko.) using advanced starters. For the rom to hack, I suggest FireRed, because it's simple and easy to use for begginers-but if you want a challenge and you want to avoid the creepy Lavander Town music... Use Emerald. as for the title... It's your choice. Also, is this for the vizzed hacking competition?


EDIT: I was on an ipad so I couldn't read completly everything matthew wrote... Now I feel stupid for saying " it said you summoned me to this thread in my notifications" when I couldn't see that you summoned me...

hilacle : It is for the Vizzed Rom Competition if I read correctly.

How nice to summon me but I guess I can help if I can still can.

What's your skill(s): Working with most of the tools needs like advance map elite script(advance script doesn't work well for me. But only on certain things with scripting) and some other stuff just name it in a pm if you want and I might be able to. Can also help with trainer modifying to make them stronger and such.
How often can you work on this project? Much more often now that I am home just say when and I will try to do as much as possible.

But just pm with stuff and I can find the tools for it maybe.

Do you need a scripter? I can do you scripts but I can't make big ones because I won't have time. (For now)

I'm not sure how to explain it... I can only do the more basic scripts. So I can't do huge events for you. (I will do the first town's big events) Maybe in a few weeks i'll have more time.

Pokemon Fire Red, Ruby, or Emerald are the better choices.

Matthew2321 : Well, i am looking for a job. I can help with concepts and ideas, if given a general idea of what the story might be about. But anything with scripting or drawing is a no go. I am more of a... concept creator, if you will. 

I would love to help. I'm partners with earthwarrior, I wonder if he would want to help me help you.

I'm an awesome Map Editor. I could do that. I'll also be a Beta Tester if you want, I have a good eye for mistakes. ...Ok maybe I'll miss something but I'll notice most of the things. I'll be able to do this most of the times, only times I cant is on Holidays, Birthdays and any special days. I go to gamestop and get games for my 3DS and days like that.

I'm looking for something to do. I've got nothing busy-like on my hands on the holidays, so why not? What positions are there? I don't need anything if I can join, because I'd rather not take Viz/money off peoples hands.

I was thinking about making a hack on my own, but realized, I couldn't do that. And then I saw your post. I think I can help, just a bit at least. And I would make a great addition to the "storyboard division". please take the time to consider my application, and I promise, I will make sure you don't regret it!
