Well, all I pretty much do is press the "Prnt Scrn" key and then I paste it in to paint and then I just cut out the portion I want from the screenshot and I upload it normally. I don't really use any programs. . .

If I'm on Mac OS X, I use Cmd+Shift+3 and paste it into photoshop, since I never found a lightweight program that was worth anything for Mac.


If I'm on Linux I just use scrot and let it dump a screenshot in my home folder.

I use the PRTSC SYSRQ button and paint. Any time I need to upload something, I just pull it out of the file, and upload it directly to the website where I want to share the picture. XD

Yeah, it is the same for me, I just use the prt screen button and  then I put the image onto paint and save it as a file and when I need to use that screenshot I open it from that same file. That is how I do it, I really don't need any fancy programs for it. I don't add many screenshots or take them very much to begin with but that is what I do if I need to.

I use the Snipping Tool which came with my computer. I select the part of the screen I want and it's easily saved to a file.
Unless I want the entire screen (which I never do), I would not use Print Screen since it takes more effort to crop the image in paint.
