No, I don't think the Mario series needs another boss, I think Bowser will be the main boss for the series, although a few games have main bosses that isn't Bowser (Wart from SMB 2 (US version), Tatanga from Super Mario Land, and Wario from Super Mario Land 2).

Well, people might think that it is boring to have the same boss in every game but if it's an awesome boss that is always trying to destroy the protagonist then I think it is better if it stays the same for the huge story to go on and on.

No, not really, I like bowser and I think he is an essential part of mario games, he is important to have. I like it, what should be changed is mario hogging up all the attention and the plot of the game too, I think the peach always getting kidnapped could use a change, that gets a little boring. But I like bowser, he is an important character and he is a great enemy and boss in the game and I don't think it would be the same without him. So no, I don't think we need a different villain in mario games, it wouldn't be the same without him.

The main villain has been changed in some Mario titles.Well in some Mario games like Mario Kart there is no real villain and in New Super Mario bros(both  the one for DS and the one for Wii) the main villain is Bowser Jr and in Mario vs Donkey Kong the main villain is Donkey Kong so they did change the main villain in some titles but overall I think its better to leave the main villain as Bowser because he's a big part of the franchise and a bit of a classic .
